The VFL started with a list of 50 players from all over the state. They are training Wednesday's at the moment. A select group also trains on Monday's. The list was cut by 15 last Wednesday, mostly local players from what I can gather.

I was told by a mate that works with a commiteeman of St Albans that the GDFL Finals will not be at St Albans in 2009.

Have heard plenty about Newtown, Bell Park & Grovedale. What about the bottom 3 sides. Where is the improvement going to come from for Lara, St Albans & North Shore? Who have they recruited? You could nearly add Grovedale to that group.
