seriously in a draft listed as very shallow, our 3rd or 4th pick will be guess. so to use it on a 21yo that is building his tank (most mids don't get fit enough until 21-23 to play permanent mid) i say go for it
cooney for a 4th rounder is a no brainer. i'm not convinced if we had a 4th round pick in the draft we would even use it, so it would be like getting him for nothing
perfect example of why thesegames shouldnt have to much read in to them. no physical pressure at all. 2 teams wanting game time but no injuries. its an intra club style match at best
so our 1st round pick is gone & people want us to try to get martin??? the stupidity sometimes here is scary. which youngster would you like to trade for him, atley, jack, cunners or bmac? coz thats what the tiges will want, a young mid in return if we dont have a 1st round pick to give
not so sure about that. if another seasoned body or 2 on top of another pre season into the names you list wins us 5-6 of those close games we lost, then we finish top 4 next year. now top 4 is a live premiership shot. i would like us to be a bit aggressive in the area of recruitment this year.
mates with one of the blokes he takes the field with. hes still much loved within, but whens it your turn & choose not to take it, its generally not well received. as i prev stated, i hope the lad makes it, i truly do.
word is the players have lost a fair bit of faith in him. copped a few hits last year that has knocked the confidence right out of himself & is now no longer prepared to put the body on the line. the sydney game in tassie raised quite a few internal eyebrows. massive shame, i thought he was our...
this is not a replacement game. your membership gets you into the game, however, due to it been an essendon home game they have determined it to be a fully ticketed game, so in other words, to have a seat you have to pay extra for the seat. your admission is already paid for. so you can just...
Nah this can't be right. People have shouted from the roof top that because Brad was continuing to play Goldy ahead of Currie meant we were gunna lose him & this was just another example of Brad not knowing what he was doing & should be sacked....
In light of Ted chucking it in inside his 1st term, I hope those that voted for him instead of our Ballarat millions, are happy. Seriously, both parties are screwed, so why wouldn't you just vote for our 30 million to upgrade to AFL standard the Ballarat oval?
Hope your happy tonight...
i hope spita, drew, boomer, goldy, hunter, wellsy all decide to meet at 10am at royal melbourne for a 1030 tee off. stay the hell away from long plane flights, dodgy facilities & 95% humidity. all way to important to send up there. send the kids only. its the nab cup played in the never-nevers...
(Edit: quote deleted)
you make a valid point. we still have to take the port adel shit out of his game...
that'll come. our coaches coach this new way called face-to-face, not via skype
so they should be. if ppl on our board can be disillusioned with BON even after reaching finals with a young team & calling for his head, then mccartney must really be on shaky ground...
Cunners. Wow!! Just wow.
So excited by the lad. It's been said plenty of times already, but he just has a side-step that is to die for & puts his team mates into space.
Very excited.
Only 4 in the group. None looked injured, was just interesting that they were going flat out whilst everyone else was pretty casual, just having a kick with each other. They were up the other end of the oval so couldnt make out who else, they looked young. Patch tends to stand out
Went along this morning to see if we were doing any training. Mostly blokes just having a light jog & kick. Nothing serious, probably just blowing out the cobwebs from the drive up to Ballarat.
Did notice Patch in a small group doing a pretty serious workout (non-contact). Would suggest if he...
holy crap!! if i get to have a 'meet & greet' with BON with a face to face membership renewal, i'm cancelling my troo roo 4 life thingy effective immediately. thats even better than inner scrotum access.
only about 8-10k will travel. the other 5-7k will be locals, getting to about 15k which will make serious coin for the club. or we can keep getting 15-20k vs port at etihad (or the G) & write a massive chq out for the 'honour' of playing there...
Hi,
Sorry if there is alrready a thread (I looked but couldn't find), but do the club sell weekend trip packages for our Tassie games? I'm looking at taking the taking the fam across on the spirit for a weekend & catching the game.
I had a look on the website (which looks pretty cool), but...
welcome to the lad & his family. before he heads off to utah we need to fix the barracking for richmond thing. get him to go to you tube & search glenn archer. thats the standard we demand at the mighty kangas!!!
Well I'd suggest our on-going sponsorship is in real trouble now after the weekends election. Greenies, health care workers, etc. A more 'less interested in sport' group you couldn't find. This mob would make John Howard look like a chance to be the 3rd seamer in the 1st test against South...
Interesting news. Is this a pointer that the Ballarat dream is over? Story just loaded up on Ballarat Courier website.
EDIT: link please nmfc_always cheers
now this thread is why i love big footy. the memories people have, amazing. none of that other bagging the living sh!t out of someone for having an opinion.
i'll throw one up...troy makepeace. whatever happened there?
