And the team he got 45 against just a couple of months ago is the team we play this week..... WCE will be laughing at us if we drop him in that case....be like if someone kicked 10 goals against a team earlier in the year, then got dropped for the return bout.... they'd be physically on floor...
How about Gibbs? a couple of the best DT games this year have been against Kangaroos defence (Lake 190 Johnstone 170)... Gibbs could play similar role against unaccountable Roos backline this week in guaranteed good conditions under the roof... im tempted...
Could your theory be that gun DT players like Swan dont have 2 bad games in a row...So Swan coming off a stinker in Rd 4 was due to get back to his lofty normal heights in Rd 5...?
If correct, your captain this week perhaps someone like Montagna, Cornes, or S.Johnson?
Im going Mackie captain this week...last time he scored 140 against the dees, and I can see the Dee's playing a mega flood, which plays into the Cats half backs hands big time.....Goodwin was the beneficiary of this last week, so im thinking Mackie being more of a kicker than Goodwin has a...
Why does everyone shiver at captaincy options when that player is playing in the rain??? the better players score better in the rain.....Ablett scored 140 in pouring rain against Tigers last year.....what they lose in marks they make up in tackles, ablett still gets 30 touches....even Richo took...
Unlimited trades per week, but max 20 for year...this would see more onus on wise trading as alot of people would be tempted to get guys like Harding, Tuck etc after gunning it Rd 1, and also trade out Raines, Anthony in Rd 1, which may work for some people, but flipside is you may have burnt 5...
I had Cheney and Petrenko as benchers in Rd 1, and Hill isnt in my sqaud to worry about......Ill keep Raines on the pine for a few weeks now that both benchers looked ok. Adequete cover, prob start Cheney this week, and re-assess after next week.
Im 1008th overall, 2070. I put in another team also in my wife's name, and it scored 2160, and 113th overall... Hmmmm thinking maybe updating details to my name for that one!!
Thanks Tarquin, appreciate the feedback, ive got a trading strategy that im hoping will work, im pretty confident of having 30 players play Rd 1, good for the market value shift come trade time.
I've gone for mostly the "quarterback" backs, and "small" key forwards this year, as I see these...
