Agree - we needed a third marking forward (either JSOS or Martin) all year. Forward line was poor at times given the strategies and lack of Plan B / C (tried only when injuries went back above 10 out).
Moir is so smooth, you can see the recruiting requirement. He's the type where year 3 will be exponential.
Will ask the Blueseum crew but our first Burmeseplayer..... second Asian player I suspect
nah hes a great shot for goal. Simple action. Used to get in trouble trying too hard when he started (particularly those cross body kicks) but very effective.
Cant wait for this game - will be there on Sunday with free tix, alongside a good Carlton fan and 2 bomber fans. Really hoping to needle them big time
And when Curnow injects himself in to another big third quarter, we'll feel the pulse of the crowd and really feel the pep in the Blues.
Yes but no half forwards right? They put kennedy in mid to help us with clearances.
Our HF line was HollandsE, Durdin and some other small. Shocking.
So you play a thifd tall which didnt work today or find another mid sizer, which we dont have. Maybe Kemp but they want him to learn in...
When your top 4 possession winners include your key HBF and 2 key defenders you know the mids were killed. Give Cripps a pass for the week, and we're playing Kennedy as a marking third forward too given other injuries.
I think we have that 6-7 players out that means 4-0 is pretty bloody good...
Useless trivia...
Another MCG blockbuster between Carlton and Richmond. When did the 2 teams last play a senior game away from the G?
And which quasi woofer finished up with us in that game?
We won a number of holding the ball as Richmond seemed to deliberately try to take a tackle and win. It’s not about gross numbers it’s about howlers.

Fascinating quarter split
-32, 1, 32, 0
So the second quarter won the game!
ps Carroll's quick turns and sidesteps...... looked really good from limited minutes.
50th game too
27 goals from 18 games - 1.5 pg. Extraordinary. Completely different players but Betts averaged about 1.8 over a very long career - almost 3 in the Crows years. 1.5pg is ace. Love it.
I think he was fumbly but in the right positions
Im a Kemp fan but Kemp's decision making in the second half was poor
I like both but we need certainty / skills / precision ec.
Then again finals footy...
Our fascination with Essendon being losers just undermines the mood; many couldn't care less. A rubbish club.
Based on our last 20 years we are -> Were rubbish and should be talking about the good clubs.
I've already been kicked off the other thread and told to 'read the room' but who...
Did you see that bit where Martin had tackled two Suns players at the same time? He had one in his left and had the jumper of another in the right - I don't think ive seen anything like it before. Think it's in the last.
I think if my own club reported publicly they were guilt of pharmacological experiments (see Zwitkowski report) I'd have dumped them. A Bombers fan friend of mine did.
And the irony was his last year his his best for games played (15) in that 10th year. Best for stats as well, goals down on 1992 (14 games, 21 goals, before the knee), but a really good year on 1997. Great memories.
