Can't believe Carlton supporters are arguing if Harry should come back in. I guess the triple teaming on Charlie against st Kilda and Lever filling in the hole in front of charlie against Melbourne doesn't indicate anything.

Or that we couldn't clear the darn ball past the wing in the last 2 minutes against Melbourne because it was Charlie versus everyone.

Guess Harry would make no difference in these cases.

Saint kilda we dominated first qaurter could not score and then had total dominance last half saints ran out of gas -- Melbourne same so many inside 50 no result - sides working out our scoring from stoppage and how to limit Charlie's effectiveness and clog up our scoring lanes -- great time to get H back also we really miss his contested marking down the wing ..

I think we just have to place faith in the game plan and execution of it. Harry in was a no brainer. He's hardly slow. We don't lose any pace, in fact we're faster with his inclusion and clearly he helps our structure and takes some heat off Charlie. JSOS is the perfect sub with his flexibility, especially if we're swapping out Pitto at some stage. We lose some tackling pressure and some stoppage ascendancy with Fog going out.

I would have preferred JSOS in, Pitto out. TDK is big enough to battle away with Witts and his mobility is going to cause Witts problems around the ground. JSOS would provide the chop out against their second ruck and be the third tall target forward.

Doc remaining in is big with Cez and Walshy still missing. We should still have enough grunt in the middle with him, Georgey, Crippa and Paddy with some chopouts from Cunners and Jack Martin. The Suns have looked to have picked a strong team but they are where they are on the ladder for a reason. We're currently tracking much better than what they are and should not be apprehensive about playing them. If we bring our sustained pressure game we'll be fine.

A tall for a small???
Pitto, TDK and McKay in the same team again even though we have enough evidence it doesn't work.
We found a winning formula but on the verge of securing a finals berth the selectors have gone and re invented the wheel when the wheel wasn't broken..... Are any of those 3 going to apply pressure or tackle like Fog??? NFW!!
JSOS would be a much better in.... his last game he was BOG but oh no the bloke with the bigger pay packet has to come in as us big heads can't have egg on our faces!! Absolute dickheads!!
Have you ever considered meditation?

Didn't think I'd being saying this at the start of the year but Fogarty is a loss

To me the fact JSOS is in the emergencies makes me think they are keeping pressure on Pitto to perform.

JSOS came back fireing last time so I think Pitto is the likely out if he is to come in.

Overall I'm happy enough. Would have preferred JSOS in if he was fit but I'm not going to complain

Such a surprise bonus for us that Fog is playing so well...I thought he was finished.

Been really impactful as a midfield rotation, feels like when he's at centre bounces we don't seem to really lose much.

His tackling in elite...wraps up his opponent and often forces a turnover.

I think he's been amazing TBH. But if Motlop is kicking goals and also applying pressure it's hard to see him getting dropped. It's just not a good time to miss a game through injury with the queue of players lining up for a shot.

Boyd a case in point losing his spot to Fisher.

Fog has been great but hardly an automatic selection. Could be a real hard luck story.

With the VFL being the curtain raiser I'm guessing we will hold over 2 players - 1 for sub and 1 for coverage for late outs.

Hopefully Boyd as sub. If we get an injury forward or middle Fisher can shuffle into another role.
Ed for coverage - it's not going to matter for Ed if he doesn't get VFL game time.

Allows JSOS to play some VFL time.
