McMahon was just plain horrible.
Nicoski would be a good inclusion. More than likely if (a big if) they are looking at him it would be more for a backup. Similar to T.Callan.
I really hope Eagleton goes on for another year. He is extremely important to our run and carry off halfback. Also...
Do you mean a world of Williams as a dog fan.
I know where your coming from Acker Harris does have great hands and is our leading contested mark player.
I would like to seem him in a swinging type role. Forward and back in games. I think he would do this quite well. As for staying at...
wow I didn't know that.
I wonder what was said to him at his end of season meeting?
He seems very upset and angry with the club. It's not like they didnt give him oppurtunities.
We must find a trade for him now.
Agree with that.
And like most here I want game time for the younger blokes. But there is just no point delisting blokes for their age.
I think next season we will see some older blokes start making way for all the talent we have.
I must say next year is the most exciting time I can remember...
Hmmm really starts making me think that Hansen might not be the man.
If we have another Williams in the team we have 2 players with a heap of talent that just sit in the medical room the whole time.
Maybe we are going down the wrong track.
Eagleton has a huge tank he runs all day. He puts preassure on the ball, yes later in the game he now struggles to kick the 50m. He is fast, he is a long kick (early in the game), he is not a bad mark, and can play multiple positions.
He has more up sides than down. I bet he plays all games...
Eagleton seems to be the kicking boy in here for some reason.
I think he does ok myself. He has lost some kicking power sure but can still contribute in other areas.
Cant trade him as he has no market value at his age.
As Coon Dog said you still have to pay him if hes delisted.
Dont mind as long as he can actually take a contested mark.
Also as long as we dont get Shultz he is no good.
Would love to see us make a run for Hanson and Lonergan. I rate both highly.
But I think Lonergan will stay, after all he is playing in the second best team in the comp.
Why do I get this funny feeling that we wont get a trade for Ray.
If he wasn't a top 10 draft pick he would have been delisted.
I really do hope we get a quality tall for him. But I get the feeling he will be with us next year.
Am I only the only person that thinks Farren Ray doesnt kick the ball forward very well?
I read in the "Drafts" forums opposition supporters calling him soft. I dont think hes soft, in fact I think he goes hard at the ball. The only real disapointing thing about his game is hes disposal of the...
For some Reason he reminds me of Aker. No overly quick but has explosive power, runs hard, great kick and excellent skills.
I would keep him in, agreed not in great form (as mentioned by everyone else) but IMO is a match winner!
Name me the last Flag won with a average "rotating ruckman" and a 6.2" FF. I dont think I can remember one in the modern era. If you have a great marking FF and a 6.4" FP then maybe a yes.
"Get out of jail" FF wont win ya a flag. You need a FF that can mark and kick goals on a regular basis...
Yes and now we have the situation where we are signing 28+ year olds to fill the gaps.
Do you see Geelong kicking the ball long to a "rotating ruckman" to hopefully "make the contest".
Key Position Players = Premierships
Ruckman he has not recruited a decent one. Minson will be ok. Not a gun but...
Yes it was. But also was he to know that Walsh was going to have what seems unlimited amounts of injuries. I felt sorry for Walsh. He seemed to have all the talent in the world but just couldnt string together more than 6 games. Faulkner in his 2nd season was touted as the next...
Agreed.
I love Westy just as much as any other Bulldogs member, but I really just cant see him making back in this year.
In finals its really a game of nutrion, you cannot afford to take a player in if they as less than 100% fit. I really dont believe Westy will be 100% fit.
But if he was I...
Unbelievable players from a Footy club puttiing their hands in their pockets for the club. Great to see :D
I actually read a report that says high altitude training takes up to a month to see benefits. But in saying that Im sure the sports science people know what they are doing. Will be...
