Bit rough i reckon. No doubt the game against Beaumaris was terrible, and we didnt play well at all, but that was with roughly 10 players out including FB and CHB (and captain).
Beat Marcellin by 37 with plenty of injuries to key players.
What happened to the O.M's?
sorry! i have 2 players in the 400-450 category.
Im not surprised that the 300-400 class has the most, as it is the largest group. But with that group, are people hoping that they become keepers??
Obviously someone like adcock, then yes they would. But how about Masten, or Gray? The lower end...
Good day all.
I remembered this thread was on last year, and it provided people with a good idea about the structure and price range of teams.
Just keep it to your current starting 22.
basically, all the players fall into a category.
450k+
400-450
300-400
200-300
150-200
under 150
my layout...
Not questioning your taste, but it seems that as soon as something becomes 'mainstream', you start to dislike it, just for the sake of being different.
Reading through a few of the threads, I dont think that your on your own.
I think I will be getting him. Averaged 89 in 2008, but only managed an average of 61 last year. And in terms of pre-season fitness, I guess no news is good news.
Does the revelation of the Prospectus basically mean that most people will field one less rookie?
I personally had two midfielder rookies, and one forward rookie, but now with Trengrove and Cunnington both mids, I don;t have the guts to field three rookies in the mids.
Basically my forwards...
It has seriously ****ed things up for my team.
I had Trengrove starting, with Cunnington and Bastinac reserves; but now they're all midfielders.
I get the feeling that now with so many quality rookies listed solely in the midfield (as opposed to someone like Ziebell last year), that there will...
Cheers hamole. I'm taking the line that he doesn't have to play in the midfield, he just has to play, as im not really looking for a keeper at 193,000.
It seems that most people on BigFooty have axed Beau Waters, when he was almost a lock a month or so ago.
I've heard he he has an injury, and am worried that it will be another long set back.
At the moment, he is staying in my team. How many people are doing the same?
Im not sure if this has been mentioned, but is anyone entertaining the idea of having a player in defence around 200k starting on the bench.
obviously theres some good players around that price range, and due to the carnage that happened last year, i thought it would provide more security in a...
disregarding price, Deledio.
halfway through the year i seem to remember he was on the verge of being dropped. he then lifted and the end of his year was phenomenal. i can easily see him continuing that sort of form, and more, with another season under the belt.
giansiracusa is still good of...
forwards is definetely where im having the most trouble picking the cheaper players.
was hoping that i would be able to get thoughts on a couple of players.
lindsay thomas: i've heard that he will be moving more into the midfield, im just concerned that he doesn't get the ball enough to...
i might be biased, but i think that Andrew Walker is a pretty secure lock in my team.
was injured a fair amount of last year and only played the final few games. after his first game where he got 46, he averaged 79 for the last four games.
plus, he is guaranteed a place in the side, and easily...
yeh im thinking exactly the sam thing, huey.
at the moment, i have Kreuzer and Tippet, but i would rather have a sandi or mitch clark instead.
i think that its probably best to have one up and comer, and one established ruckman. then, your not too far behind the eight ball in points, and money...
yep definetely worth considering.
having a look through the list at carlton, potential break out dream teamers are grigg, walker, and even jordan russell.
these players are at the point where they need to step up.
ok so i mentioned this in another thread, but this is what i will be doing most likely.
get a couple of guns (m.murphy, as i have no doubt he will improve, and then probably bernie, due to his name)
then skip the guys from probably around 340-380 thousand, as they will require a smaller...
yeh fair enough. i think i'll take a couple of proven guns, then go with three cheaper players, and one rookie. its so far away tho that its impossible to know.
