So how are you coming along with getting us a ten spot upgrade by giving away Mitch Brown or Waters? I'm still chuckling away with your suggestion. That one has really done your credibility the world of good.:D
To be fair to Gunnar that's not really accurately representing what he said

not much will happen.
Seaby will go, probably packaged with either pick 36 or 20/18 depending on the interest for him. Graham may be traded for a pick after 60 (that we won't use), just to give him a new club provided he still wants to play footy. Will probably receive a few enquiries on guys like spangher, rosa and staker, but i doubt any will be traded.
Might have a look at Jono Griffin, and if we don't, and trade seaby and graham, it is safe to assume we are going for nic nat.
WB might make a play for hansen if getting hall doesn't work out, carlton might throw an offer in aswell, but going by how the club rates him, i doubt we will accept anything less than a brilliant offer.
Adelaide could make a play for butler, preying on a possible disillusionment with his injuries, but it is unlikely and we probably rate him very highly.

We might try and package multiple piks for higher picks, but probably outside the first round.
Seaby+36 to melbourne for 17
Graham to carlton for pick 72

2: Naitanui
17: Swift
18: Robinson
20: Walters

how about this trade for EA:

wce trade: picks 18 +20+36 for freo: pick3
we then on trade that pick to melb with graham for pick 1.

wce trade: hunter, wirra , nicoski and fletcher to bombers for pick 5, gumbleton and jetta, we then use gumby and jetta to get pick 3 back from melb.

Also trade embley+ 52 to magpies for pick 10, and delist hansen and anyone else over 23.

That leaves us with picks: 1) nat, 2) rich, 3) hartlett and 10) sidebottom, and an average age of 17 meaning we will win the next 8 premierships easily.

I'm pretty confident this will happen:thumbsu:

hehehe :D

well, considering we have seaby to go and potentially ray to get to the club, then i think it will be a fairly active trade period by our standards.

currently we have 4 spots available on the list and picks 2, 18, 20 and 36.

if we trade for another second rounder we invalidate our third rounder, so we might as well be going for upgrades on all counts.

unless graham goes, in which case another outright second rounder will be useful

and if we trade for ray, which i would be in favour of, although i think that with us having second pick in the PSD we might be able to leverage that into getting him for a third rounder. if it turns out he is not interested in screwing the dogs and nominates a couple of clubs (like freo), then we will probably have to part with pick 20 to get him, which would be a fraction too much i reckon.

so i think the order of the day will be pick upgrades, and as far as seabs is concerned it depends on who is interested. if a couple of clubs want seabs then i could see us upgrading one of the early second rounders to a late first, as something like pick 12 for seabs and pick 18 is pretty fair.

will be a very interesting trade week for us
