What a win. Was lucky enough to get standing room to the game after two hours of Ticketek F up. Best day of my footy life.
Just want to thank all my brothers and sisters on this club page. I don’t have much to say/post usually but enjoy all the banter.

Probably didn’t want to get stepped.Just watched the last quarter again and one thing that stuck out for me was was how Lippa chose to corral McCluggage on the boundary when he set up the Daniher goal instead of doing whatever it took to force him over the line. Thank f*** we hung on because I reckon that would be the moment that would haunt us for years to come if they pinched it after that. Oh well, all's well that ends well I suppose

The pain of 2002, 03, 11 and 18 went away as soon as that siren went. All those missed chances to get to 16 are now evicted from my mind. The missed Tarrant free, the Rocca suspension, the succession plan debacle to whole passage of play leading up to the Dom Sheed goal are all now irrelevant. A huge weight was lifted when that final siren went, a weight I didn’t think was going to be lifted when Murphy went down or when Cameron kicked that goal.
Huge props to Fly and boys out there for not capitulating when the pressure was on. Time and time again we’ve seen it go the other way in similar situations. For us Tom finally win like that is huge.

Sorry for intrusion but i must agree it was epic. The thing i loved most of all though was Fly's interview, so many insights into his thinking and his persona and mantra he has introduced to the club.
No need to apologise. You're welcome. Your team did you proud too. Not much consolation for you, I guess, but it was surely one of the most hard fought grand finals ever.
Cheers, being at the game though i just thought you guys were running stronger through the midfield and had a few more aces up your sleeve than us on the day. Red time goals just killed us. Anyway hoping we can have another crack next year but they are bloody hard to get into.

We lost a Grand Final by less than a kick only a few years ago, so fortunes can change with enough perseverance and belief.
