We had over 25 against them in our two other games this year as well. Had to defend better and did that.

Two questions about the amazing Zac Bailey goal after smothering Mason’s kick after he was called to play on:

1. Why was Cox called to play on?

2. How could Bailey possibly be close enough to smother it without giving away a protected zone free?

The thing that shits me is that Bailey had hardly any intention of following his opponent.

He was in the protected zone to impact Cox and did as he was purposely lagging behind his opponent. It was infuriating.

I don’t know about you all, but for me the feeling was that the boys were calm as **** all day. There was no panic, etc. I was obviously tense, but had this calm feeling even into the last quarter. We almost kicked ourselves out of it, but were on top all day. If we had lost it was have been devastating.
