Probably explains why we have so many close games.

Genuine goosebumps watching that again after a few months. And even closer to the action with the Coaching commentary.

If anything this gives me a stronger affinity for Brisbane to win on Saturday. Fagan and his team are a bit hodge-podge in terms of the characters in the club, but the skill, tenacity and good sportsmanship they showed in the GF last year and in all the finals this year gets them over the line.

Contrast that with Sydney and their "We have this in the bag" kind of mentality alongside the unlikeable coach and very unlikeable fans.

Incredibly frustrating season

This was the season to go back to back.

Brisbane literally got objectively worse and have made the Grand Final. We didn't even need to be as good as last year to have won it again.

Issue is we got WAY worse and decided to straighten up a week or two too late

Great insight. I like how McRae can go from celebrating the moment to coach mode in a second. While both coaches mentioned the opposition at half time, McRae didn’t dwell on it during this clip. Can see why the players love him, delivers the message well, emotive, but not emotional.
