You havent paid attention to the real green top wickets over recent years at Hobart in shield matches?

The wicket that was provided for the NZ test match is a reguler style before jan for shield games.
I knew that they were fast bowler friendly, I just didn't think that they'd be that fast bowler friendly

What is the wicket like, usually they are massive green tops in Feb.

Poor batting? Great bowling?

I think Tassie went in one batter short, I would have exchanged Gulbis for a batsman, Blizzard the most likely candidate.
Hard to tell from the feed really, seems to be greenish in strips. More straight strips up the pitch than across the pitch like they were for the Test.
Bowling seems to have been tight, without being anything special, in the little I've seen.

Krazy justfying his spot, even if he fails with the ball 8)

Wonder how long Punter will go on for, it still must be very satisfying.

few things i watched all day,

ricky taught the new leggie on the block a thing or two by good foot work the young fella got smacked around...
copland was swinging it all morning then after lunch looked a different bowler for some reason...
cosgrove would be playing for OZ if not for being as big as 10 men led feet...
ricky had to earn it today, abit of luck went his way finally an cashed on big time...

Good stuff Krejza...second first class ton and his high score. Definitely not harming his chances of keeping his spot, you'd think (do Tassie have any other half-decent spinners when X-Do isn't around?).
