As we put in another miserable performance and the honeymoon period of 2-0 now long gone, I was wondering where everyone's expectations are at now that we are 1/4 through the year. We thought we got the worst of this rebuild/bottoming out behind us, yet we still are fielding scrubs like Turner who are getting paid 100s of ks to produce literally nothing. We made Mcdonald captain after 2 ok seasons following 8 shit ones when he shouldn't even be on the list.
Looking at our upcoming draw, for the next 10 weeks I am really struggling to see where we will be competitive much less any win. We have some floggings coming our way. In all likelyhood we will be 2-14 before we meet Hawthorn again.
The bolded are matches where we are some chance I suppose only because they are shit too. And maybe Richmond. That puts us at 5 wins. Will it be enough to avoid an unprecendented (in modern AFL) 3rd spoon in a row? Not even the GC or GWS finished last 3 years in a row if I remember right..yet we are a huge chance.
Melbourne
St Kilda
Port
Sydney
Collingwood
Essendon
GWS
Bulldogs
Adelaide
Geelong
Hawthorn

Essendon
Richmond
Gold Coast
The biggest thing to look forward to seems to be Wardlaw's debut, and maybe TT coming back...
