Andy had 7 or 8 touches in the first 5 minutes of that game. It was a statement that we were up for any fight today.
Was my best on (easily) at quarter time.

Once we got a hold in our forward half, McGrath not needed as much. Still ended up with 29 and showed how much more influential he can be behind the ball

2017:
I'm probably in a minority, but I think McGrath will be better as a defender than midfielder.

I kind of hope he stays there.
2019:
Have always maintained he was a defender; still think that's where we'll get the best of him.

I’ll be back next year just in case this comes up again.
 
Was anyone else 100 percent certain he would miss that set shot today? Just has no match winning ability and will be a perennial b grader a Jarryd geary type captain coming up but without the heart

I find it really underwhelming that he is considered a future captain. When has he really inspired the side through his actions on the field ?
