Agree he can prob only have the rookie spot as other 3 will be filled by draft... but again wouldn’t we have offered the rookie spot by now

You can’t offer rookie spots ahead of the rookie draft. We just have to wait til then to take him

Delisted free agents can only be offered senior list spots

Your avatar reminds me of a very funny radio blooper. Sammy Newman and Greg Evans were doing a fill in on breakfast on 3AW and a new blockbuster movie had been released (maybe a Star Wars). They yelled at their producer to get Bill Collins up and they would ask him about the movie. They did and started to question Bill about the movie.
'I haven't seen it yet' he said. 'Might go see it at some stage'.
They carried on the interview a little incredulous as to how Bill Collins, leading movie reviewer, had not seen the biggest new film. A few more minutes into the interview they realised the producer had brought on Bill Collins racecaller, the accurate one, and not Bill Collins movie reviewer. Very funny.

I happened to be listening when that went to air, very funny. The movie was “Unforgiven”, the Clint Eastwood western and I knew immediately they had the wrong Bill, both have very distinctive voices, but they continued on as though it was “Mr Movies”. Eventually Sam realised and went into paroxysms of laughter as Greg continued to babble on. Very amusing radio and Bill, who knew straight away they had the wrong one, played them like a piano.

Looking in the “Training” thread, there’s video footage that includes Jed’s tackling. Part of the footage, to me, looks like the above contest from a slightly different angle. In the video footage, Majak makes no contact with the ball whatsoever. Am I correct or is this a different contest? The same players, like Cunnington and Ahern and BBB seem to be positioned similarly in the photo and the video.

Not good news for Durdin or McKay. (maybe both)

A fit and in form Maj goes straight in above the other two to join Taz and likely Walker.
Hard to get a handle on how Majak's body will withstand the rigours of serious matchplay. I recall someone here suggesting he will never play again. If we get a fit Majak back in the ones it's a real bonus.

Given the evidence in front of our eyeballs, doesnt seem like that person has much of an idea.

Hope so - just saying. Difference between tearing up the training track and withstanding serious game play. Certainly looking positive - hope so coz a fit Majak would be a real bonus.

Not certain about this

Durdin and McKay should fancy themselves ahead of a guy who was cut by his team and a guy returning from career threatening injury.

If they aren’t good enough - then such is life.

Great news for North to have serious competition for these key positions.

Fully agree a fit and firing a Maj goes straight in but the proof will be in the pudding at sustained AFL level.

FWIW - I think Daw is a lock. Dedicated, out performed all expectation and currently fit.

man can tell you there are no issues with his rig. I am following Maj very closely, via a third party of course. He's back and yes it is a bonus.

I'm just being cautious - as I said you can train as hard as you like but nothing compares to real match play. A fit, strong Majak will be fantastic.

We can take heart from the fact that he successfully played in about 4 VFL games last season off less of a build up. That definitely compares well to real match play. His hamstring issue would not be related to the original trauma, you’d reckon.

Robbie and Majak will be the starting key defenders next year with one of Durdin/Walker also. I can actually see all four playing, with Durds playing on a s small/medium like Scooter used to.
