Yes, but he was suing us claiming that we deliberately didn't play him to avoiding activating another year on his contract, not about any concussion issues.

Yes, it really was as absurd as it sounded.
They could've just shown his 2015 highlights or lack of and not a courtroom in the country would rule that he should've been played more.

I would sit gus out for the remainder of the year, just train him, put him in the gym and have him in the coaches box on game days.

Can't protect him though, if he's gonna get hit and get concussion. 12 months out wont help
Either he can play AFL footy or he can't

I realise that, i just think its best to give him some time off to speak with specialists etc.
It cant be good to coo another one so closr to this one hence the reason best to take a break.

It seems the club is confident he will play this weekend so it really must have been minor and the club took a precaution.

Can we just let the people qualified to deal with concussion get on with it?

None of you have a clue, unless you're a neurosurgeon. Stop guessing, its bloody exhausting.

I'm sorry for posting about Melbourne on the Melbourne board.
 Because that's exactly what I'm saying.

Its like people guessing when Jesse would return, but even wilder. I said it earlier - pissing in the wind.

Literally everything we say on this board is pissing into the wind, it has no effect or impact on anything. Stop being so petty.

Speculating about the impacts of concussion on a guy you've never met and whose medical records you have never accessed is a little different to debating how bad Melksham is.

I'll be sure to PM you for permission next time I post.
You're correct that you have every right to post what you like, but you look like a bit of a dick when its unsubstantiated rubbish that you then proceed to back up because "its an opinion" when its not even an opinion.

The Casey coach was quoted as saying he would play on Friday, hopefully does
So that's where is read it! He's not listed, but I swear I read that he was supposed to play but couldn't find it anywhere.

Can't be far from being right to go if they're saying it tho

I thought so too but isn't named in the team they put out on Thursday?

Yeh strange, and the coach was quoted on Friday - hopefully just a line ball call to give him an extra week

Probably the strangest thing about concussions is how it changes the shape of the brain. Apparently Brayshaw wasn't a huge fan of broccoli but now he is.
