Interesting mate. I don't mind him, he presents in top condition and looks like a pretty hard worker with some ok athletic attributes.

He won't turn a bottom side into a top side but I don't think he's the problem either. He just had an unlucky day.
At Marvel
Carlton - 24
St Kilda - 18
Essendon - 24
Hawthorn -18
St Kilda - 21
Averages - 21disposal per game and 6 marks

Away from Marvel (left out the 2 games he was sub)
Brisbane - 16
Gold Coast - 17
Melbourne - 17
GWS - 16
Adelaide - 22
Geelong - 12
West Coast - 17
Melbourne - 13
Averages - 16disposals per game and 4 marks

It’s a noticeable drop off but his game is definitely more suited to under the roof.
You’d of thought playing at marvel wouldn’t suit him due to being so slow
No it’s the dry deck that suits him. No wind no rain no sunlight - means his kicking efficiency is up and seems more at home away from the elements

Another "Tweener" on our list. Not tall, not quick, questionable skills, average tank
yeah I don't mind Tucker....but here's the thing, we delist guys like Mason Wood (admittedly injury prone with us), and Atley but then put guys like Tucker on the list. In no way am I taking potshots at Darcy, but seems like list turnover for the sake of it.

Symptomatic of a list wide issue insofar as he’s prone to some absolutely boneheaded decision making which costs goals.

The goal square ‘effort’ a case in point.
He’s not invested in the way Shiels is for example.
Shiels on the last line of defence would have kamikazed himself, the ball and his opponent across the line. No f****s given.
It’s why I’m sceptical of Tuck and if he’s bought in or just here for a payday.

Nah. That wasn't a moment of not caring, it was a moment of stupidity. He clearly thought he'd get pinged for deliberate. Which is a ****ing stupid thing to think when you've got a bloke hanging off you. Nothing to do with investment, he seems invested to me. He just has brain fades which always seem to happen at the most crucial moments

Any idea how that matches up against the team as a whole mate?

Very similar sadly.
We are flat track bullies it seems which isn’t such a bad thing when we are trying to just win games of footy again.

Our average losing margin at Marvel is 21 points compared to 44 points away.
We are effectively a 4 goal better side at Marvel. It’s a big difference.

I looked up Baileys stats and he averages 22.5 disposals at Marvel compared to 19.5 away, so even our most consistent and best runner has a bit of a drop off.

Thanks mate. Might be applicable to all sides using Marvel as a base maybe?

He does some very strange things, that’s for sure.
I go from thinking he’s pretty useful to praying for his immediate banishment to football purgatory.

Very odd thing to say given we’ve just lost 18 games in a row

I’d say we just don’t use as much lubricant when we drop our pants at home, compared to away games

Potentially. It just raises the issue further in that we only play 10 games there this year and 3 are against non Marvel tenants (West Coast, Collingwood, Hawthorn) with the Eagles the only interstate side there. We don’t have much advantage. So we are selling ourselves short in the current set up.
Hawthorn has 1 home game there and visits 4 times this year and Collingwood 2 home games and 3 trips.
So most the games are pretty neutral.

I didn’t include Sydney as they’ve won their last 4 at the venue and 7 of their last 11.
We haven't beaten them there in 17 years.

There is definitely an uplift in our performances at Marvel but it means the Hobart games are starting to hurt. We’ve been belted the last 7 times we’ve travelled down there in a noticeable drop in form. It’s not a happy hunting ground at all. Don’t know why it’s become such a negative but it’s clear we hate playing down there.

With the playing group clearly favoriting games at Docklands the club really needs an exit strategy out of Tasmania. The sooner the better.

You could just exclude them from all NMFC statistics post 2000.

We could be top of the ladder and them winless for 8 months and they'll still make us gag on our own spit.

It’s not an anomaly anymore when it happens every bloody time.
If it’s not 19 men it’s the runner and if it isn’t the runner guarding space it’s an injured opponent ratting us out to the umpire.
I really do despise those campaigners.
Yeh we hate * and aren’t fond of Richmond but these mother****ers do us dirty each time we play them and then hide behind their so called morals and “bloods culture”.

Going back to last week you gotta feel for Darce. Mrs H.had a big assessment over the weekend so l watched a bit of footy at home.

Countless instances of blokes hugging the ball and opting to get dragged over the boundary line and out of play.

Can say, l don't think one of them was penalised.

Again mate, and don't leave anything out this time. Nothing annoys me more than people who beat around the bush.
