He definitely got a lot of the ball in defensive 50
Well yeah he was playing defensive wing/half back and we had like 40 inside 50s. That ball was down there a lot. He rebounded well and defended well. He’s not a star but does that invalidate his game? Have a go at our mids who were mostly beaten or our half forwards who provided little pressure when we did get it forward and no aerial threat when we did run it out of D50.

He said was shit last week, he was good this week. They tweaked his role a bit and he played better.

Liked his game in the first half seem composed but that second half was one of the most reckless half’s of football from a senior player I can remember for a while. Every time he got the ball in the second half he would throw it on the boot straight into the hands of awaiting Collingwood players. Just a rough estimate but I reckon he did this about 6 times. He and lmac were a big part of the reason why we collapsed. Compare them to Collingwoods experienced players it’s light and day when it’s crunch time

He should have kicked that goal at the death. Seemed like he was kicking it to an encircled Larkey in the pocket, but he had a good look, space and time, and needed to take the game on himself. A senior player that doesn't step up.

His move to half back has been good but bloody he’ll he goes to water under pressure.

Belting the ball forward. Barrels and torps out of defensive 50.
Wtf.

Then that snap on the left. Come on mate

I think he’s a smarter player than some of us have him credit for, Has probably sensed the writing on the wall as a winger. Not as quick as Scott, Kerch, Stephen’s or even Ford at times.

He’s been given a new role at HB as sheez been rolled up the ground and has honestly been very solid since he’s been there.

He’s simplified his game and is playing better as well more reliable.
Good to see players adjust and tweak their games
