Personally I'd like to see Rivers become an inside mid long term, and Bowey a winger, not getting my hopes up tho
Sex god trent rivers would be in a similar ilk to Josh Kelly in our midfield. Classy.

Agree. Goody loves his settled defense, would take some balls. I don't see it but I'd be for it.
would make it harder for teams to sit on Salem if he was on a wing

How ******* sad, can't even have parents in the rooms. :(

Btw Great debut kid 👍

If you ignore size, think about how slick his debut looked compared to a Watts or Jordan. You can't teach that composure

Cant wait til he takes mark of the year too.

It's night and day his appearance on the field compared to most debutants. I've never been more certain almost I'm watching an AFL level talent.

There is no panic or running round like a Headless chook in Bowey.

Just a little thing, but one of my favourite parts was him pointing to a teammate as if to say "what the **** are you doing" when Flanders took that mark and kicked a goal in the last quarter. Not afraid to speak up even in a flogging if someone has done something wrong. #elitestandards

Very nice debut. Was clean with his hands and got the ball out to a teammate quickly, you could tell he was up to the pace of the game and wasn't caught by surprise as most debutants are. Hope they've got him watching a mountain of Caleb Daniel tape.

I don't remember a young Trenners, I just remember the plodding spud at the end of his career. :(
Most composure I've almost ever seen in an 18yr old. He turned his body in contests, got his hands free etc. The most AFL ready player Ive ever seen at 18. Such a shame.

ImissFrosty you probably don't remember young Trenners. He had more poise and composure than most 200 gamers

Yep. From his first game he looked like there was no way he didn’t forge a 200+ game career at B+ level at worst. He did everything so well. I guess his career shows nothing is certain.

It sucks. If you ignore athletic traits Trenners did everything perfect you could teach a young footballer. From his tackling to the way he approached contests etc. He was the perfect footballer technically. So so sad

It's funny you bring up Trenners, as I was going to use the same example. Totally agree on both Trengove and Bowey.

EDIT: Trengove is still only 29.
