NSW players let us down today,thank god for a vic player to make a game of it.
I showed the stats in the Pakistan series, despite being smaller in numbers, the Vics well and truly outshone their overrated neighbours!
I love New Zealand, England and India. Especially when they beat Australia. Because a lot of fans can't stand losing to them.

I'd lost interest and was out of the room as it was happening at the time and the last I saw Marcus was on 70ish, but I could hear it from the other room and it sounded like we were just dying a slow death and then the TV switched itself off, as the remote hadn't been used for an hour and then a while later, on the hourly news on the radio, they said we were on 280 and needed just 7 more runs to win and I was like "uwotm8?"!

And you are right, I don't like Stoinis that much, overrated and can tell he thinks he's a ladies man haha but I appreciate good cricket, he played well today and hope he can be Mitch Marsh v2.0

It is a real pity Stoinis had such a poor Shield season. Personally he is the number 6 All Rounder in the test side we have been looking for. First and foremost he can actually bat in the top 6, rather than Marsh who is a number 8-9 at best in test cricket. What did surprise me was how well Stoinis bowled though.

I guess you can be happy enough with the batting fightback given the Australian bowling attack was basically at full strength but they bowled complete filth to a bloke that's not even a lock to make Australia's 2nd XI and should have lost the unloseable game against a team missing it's best 2 players.

Id say Stoinis has a more solid technique than Mitch, but that's about it.
He also has a far superior first class batting record. Same amount of 100's and 50's but Stoinis has had about half the innings

If Stoinis had managed just 1-2 50s this shield season he would have played in Sydney.
His bowling is certainly better than Cartwrights.
