Great win! Not a bad effort when effectively playing 17 players, Pavlich is a passenger and a liability.

Ballantine great after 8 weeks on the side lines. Walters mercurial with his skills and nice finishing. Mundy and Fyfe early were good too.

Barlow was poor - is he carrying an injury or just low on form? Just looks flat, no 2nd efforts, seemingly lacks endurance or the drive to chase.

Amusing to see the commentary panel creaming themselves every time Goodes touched the ball, even when the disposal is ineffective or a 1-metre handball backwards.

Surprised Sandilands wasn't paid that mark in the goal square - a clear 'error' from the umpire(s) at a crucial time in the match.

Really enjoyed watching it.

hrmm what?

My annoyance with de Boer is that once again he gave away not one but two free kicks for head high tackles. I mean the guy has been to university yet never learns.

Twice for ducks and also he's leading the forward line - therefore the teams - pressing system. He has to go in hard. Dead set de Boer would be in my first 12 picked for the prelim. Seemed like the only bloke with the requisite intensity for a half of footy.

You're an idiot. You're gonna come on this board and call Pav a passenger? Good luck

I like Fremantle - it's my second team, i'm not trolling, but you're joking if you think otherwise. Was a good win despite some really iffy umpiring at moments.

Pavlich played one of his best games for the season. Mundy went missing for a huge part of the game. Fyfe was terrible. Goodes was immense for them. :drunk::rainbow:

Why is it always de Boer? Intensity is great but you still have to be smart. I thought he actually played a better game than normal but carelessness is just that

He is smart about it. He goes in harder in the forward line where we can create goal scoring opportunities from knocking the ball out or HTB. You rarely see him give them away in the middle of the park.

Great pressure finals footy - unlike Hawks, Swans came to play. That weather (or lack of) would have thrown things around. That wind was awful!!

How long can we go on just scraping through.. how the hell have we gotten so far this this year? Freo I love you but you are killing me, my heart, my heart. it can't take much more of this!. Every team on the ladder go in against us knowing they can win and crack it up a couple of notches, I wonder if I will last the prelim...

Well I guess we'll politely have to agree to disagree RE: Pavlich.

RE: Mundy and Fyfe I said "early on were good" - when the game was there to be won and ascendancy to be stamped, but yes, poor later in the game.

I didn't say Goodes played poorly but rather the commentators can't help but comment with rose-coloured glasses regardless the impact of his disposal.

Will take the win but lots of scope for improvement to win the Prelim & especially the big one...

Ballas...welcome back to form :). Fortunate that Nick Smith didn't play but he took his opportunities.
Walters...is our xfactor and good for 2+ goals.
Fyfe is Fyfe...got back to his high standards.
Sandi dominate again and congrats on breaking the season hit outs record.
Mundy & Hill...good start to game but seemed to taper of. It showed with Kennedy & Hanners dominating the second half.
Tommy & Lachie impressed with working their way our of heavy congestion.

Zarke...well let's just hope Griff is good to go for the Prelim. Hardly got off the ground & utterly frustrating watching his lack of intensity in chasing & contesting the mark.

Really missed Macca. Hopefully with the week break will be right. He's our number one defender for a reason & would have helped shore up our backline. MJ looked rusty but confident he'll be better from the run.

Well done though boys...stoked we're in another Prelim :)

.

Hilarious that you call Pav a passenger and then your next two sentences praise Walters and Ballas, the two guys he worked tirelessly for all day to open up oportunities behind him. It makes the rest of what you say just look like a lucky guess and shows your lack of understanding about the game of football.

He worked himself into the ground today for others but surprisingly his disposal was off.

Ease up, Pavlich wasn't one of our worst players but he wasn't great either. Dropping a lot of marks he shouldn't and doesn't appear to be moving at 100%.

Do you think the week off for half your team had an impact? Had the Swans kicked straight you guys would be buying tickets to another home final next week. I honestly thought the Dockers would crack Sydney stupid.
