I think your optimism is well placed, i remember watching his first game and almost writing him of after that but he turned his game literally on its head the following off season. If this blokes mojo continues to build on the same trajectory as his game has been tracking the sky could be the limit. He has shown glimpses of what the textbook modern hybrid fwd should look like. Then throw in a few party tricks like his aerial ability just for good measure.I’m very optimistic about Taylor. Could be in our top 5 players in 2-3 years time. He just seems to have ‘it’.
Saying he had a poor 2019 is rewriting history a bit. He was in AA calculations up until the gambling suspension.
The way he and Simpkin dragged us back into against the Saints was phenomenal.I think your optimism is well placed, i remember watching his first game and almost writing him of after that but he turned his game literally on its head the following off season. There is also a general physiological limit to how quickly you can put weight on without any excess weight just being flab, too.
Plus 10kg of pure lean mass is A LOT.
Man, Jy SimpkinThe way he and Simpkin dragged us back into against the Saints was phenomenal.
Some of you guys are so one eyed.
All I see is Joe the Goose who’s scared shitless of any contact.
He better grow some balls in the off season.
He does have a nice kick though.
Did you see his half arse attempts and tackling? He is literally scared of being hurt.Lol ok.
Have you not seen his 2 grandfinal goals?
His torp from the Center square?
The numerous marks on the lead out infront and subsequent goals?
The few contested marks and goals?
The many snaps from all angles?
Granted there were more than a few Joe’s but you are missing the majority of good things if that’s all you saw.
He’s no Jed that’s for sure. But the clip above your post shows him tackling and goaling. Also the clip of his tackles against the dees near the boundary line was awesome.Did you see his half arse attempts and tackling? He is literally scared of being hurt.

Interestingly he avaeraged 2.1 tackles per game in 2019, vs 1.6 for Curtis Taylorin 2020. 2.4 for cam zurhaar in 2020.PLAYERCARDSTART5Curtis Taylor

He’s quick, and a good kick, which are 2 positives we need, but he had better toughen up.
So excited to have him on board! I went to the match where he kicked a barrel from about 55 metres out. He’s got some tricks to say the least.
Im not as down as you, but this is still a pretty speculative deal. He's had a nice season and a half in a good team and got some over the backs. Some of you guys are so one eyed.

Lol there are different types of tackling, chase down etc the Zurhaar’s tackles are aggressive, made to feel like you have run into a bullHe’s no Jed that’s for sure. Fwd 50 pressure is different again. Stephenson and Turner will make a massive difference in FWD 50 pressure. And Polec pisses me off because he has no right foot. You could post highlight of our delisted players as good as that. I’m looking at the complete picture.
If we’re not happy with Polecs defensive skills, Stevo is going to cause all sorts of frustration if he’s playing midfield.
