If there is one thing the AFL doesn't train, it's goal kicking.

he even looked a smart field kick on a few occasions! and nice iq with the forward handball

could it be in the rough and tumble of the big time he's reverted to (or been told to) just get it and bullock through traffic rather than be cute with little kicks or handballs?

If ever there was a guy to rag doll and show he can become a top echelon ruckman than it has to be Tom De Koning this week.

Tom looks like a nice player with a heck of a lot of potential but Draper could be a beast. Throw your weight around Sam and it goes a long way to helping our midfield group get on top.

We look so much more threatening now he's marking the ball and hitting the scoreboard. Thank goodness. I was starting to think it was all just hype. Brings so much energy to every contest. Imagine what he'll be like with a couple of more seasons of endurance running.

if he can put an extra layer into his game as a go forward ruckman, opens the door to have Bryan come in as the tap ruckman with Draper the bruiser
