AA in the u18s and AFL clubs persist with him as a dud forward. Ludicrous, I hope we try something different rather than bang our heads against the well with something we know isn't going to work long term.
The few times I saw him play behind the ball while playing in the ruck he just seemed to become so much more confident when going for the ball.
The problem is we already have a number of good big defenders. If Kosi goes back, then we need to move someone forward. Personally, I would love to see Blight tried as a forward simply because he can hang onto a mark. The other one would be Tyler Young. He started as a forward before we shifted him back however, I suspect it will be mid-season before we see him ready to play again.

Regardless of whether we have a surplus of defenders we should still play him in his best position which is as a KPD imo

Hawks tried Kosi all over the ground. Personally I feel his position was CHF/Ruck.

Ruck seems to work him into the game and he is a confidence player.

Great mark, great lead, needs to work on goal kicking accuracy.

If you could get two goals a game from him, it would be solid contribution.
Respectfully disagree. He's still only 24 and feel he could be a serviceable defender...or a failed/delisted ruck/forward. He plays like a defender regardless of his position so just leave him down back imo

He is the ideal size for our defence. He is 196 and pretty mobile. Ideal for the 200cm forwards who are a bit too tall for Balta and a bit too quick for Miller. At 24 this should be his time to have a break out year

LOl Miller is probably 1 of the quickest men for his size in the AFL

Depends who we draft really. If we pick up a couple of key forwards, then it may make sense for Kosi to move back.

Honestly would trial a backline of Balta kozi broad and blight all preseason. Think it could work. I still don’t really rate miller. Young could also force his way in.

Forwards then become lynch Sampson grey Bauer with lefau still to come back.Fawcett in the vfl getting some game time.

On paper we have a lot of options before even drafting someone. So would expect some talls to be on the move next off season

I would like to see Blight played forward for a trial. He is big and mobile and a very good mark. Kosi back is not a bad idea, we know what he has up forward and it is not quite good enough. No point going through the motions and playing players where you know they are not quite good enough.

Not sure I agree that Blight is mobile.

Quick was the wrong word, mobile is probably a better word. Anyway to understand go and watch our round 17 game against Freo. Against Amiss and Treacy, Miller just couldn’t get into the contest. That game seemed to sap his confidence for the last few games or maybe the opposition saw how to put him off his game. I am a fan of Miller but he is not a defender that can be played against any opponent.
