well really the hatred goes one way, cos i dont think leeds could give two shits about derby
having said that, whilst id like to see them get promoted, as their doing it without parachute payments, think they would struggle at the higher level and would need to rebuild their squad. West brom on the other hand, wouldnt require as much strengthening
edited to say, clearly the man has lost the plot, it was leeds fans who were singing "we're going down in one minute", replicating what they did at bolton 3 years ago

It wasnt meant to be a troll Leeds fans,just one fan's personal perspective which is so lacking in the usual reporting.
So often people ask why Leeds are so hated.For Derby,as with most clubs its a long standing feud.
We stole the 71-72 title from Leeds on the last day of the season & some of the battles through the 70's are long remembered.Until this year we hadnt won at Elland Rd since the mid 70's,cant remember how many times we drew you in the Cups & lost spiteful clashes,often after replays.
It aint personal for me,already been where you are.Didnt kill us off & Im fairly sure youll be back.

guess some just hate us for being leeds
leeds lost that many trophies somewhat controversially during that era, that i guess that one isnt so significant, i also know there was some issues prior to leeds first match down from the premiership where we beat derby one nil, not exactly sure what happened there

It sounds like there will be a major announcement on Tuesday at St Mary's regarding the current takeover bid believed to be headed by Microsoft co-owner and worlds 19th wealthiest man Paul Allen.
I still don't know what to make of this other than to expect disappointment.
In other news I expect one of our young academy kids to become an overnight sensation before being prised away from a big club who can't develop their own youngsters.

The most expensive game in football. 60 million on the line tonight. Derby v West Brom. I can honestly say that during our play-off days I was ten times more nervous then I ever was during the FA Cup final. So much on the line. Its more then a stupid piece of metal around your neck. It means so much more. Good luck to people of both sides.

Its interesting that West Brom are going in as such favorites. Cannot wait for the game, time for the mighty Rams to reclaim their spot in the top flight. Can't bear the thought about the sh&t i'll cop if we lose.
