Well it has been going on for over a week now, figured some of you out there might want to discuss any goings on during the year.

AJ Burnett with a no hitter through 6 against Tampa.

M's start 5-2 on the road and won the home opener today. Not a bad start at all so pretty happy with things so far.

i've watched more baseball in the last two weeks thanks to One than i have in my entire life. and it helps being on holidays. Loving every minute of it so far.

8-3 now, Ichiro! is back, King Felix and Bedard providing quailty Starts at the Top of the Rotation back by Baseball's best Defensive Outfield. Yep, I'm happy with how the M's are going because we are going to be a surprise packet coming out of a very weak AL West (won't take must for a team to win the division there this year). Just got to stop giving up so many walks and allowing hitter to see so many fastballs from the 3-4-5 Pitchers and the Pen.

Good enough start by the Dodgers to lead the NL West- but if we are serious (especially considering the relatively poor form of the D'backs) we should win the West pretty easily.

Intersting start for the "Sox" in the AL East (which is easily the toughest division IMO) Having said that- they have played the A's and Angels- both very solid teams.

What intersted me the most is that the 2 teams that I thought would be the two bottom teams (Orioles and the Jays) are top 2.

Season is looking very intersting

just watching the yankees twins game - ref is an absoloute tosser - calling strikes that are clear balls.....damon gets ejected from the game.

do the yankees get a replacement? or do they play one short?

And the Streak is over.....

...Big Papi, otherwise known as David Ortiz, hit his first home run of season 2009 today, a two-run shot to centre field at Fenway Park as part of a six-run fifth-inning that included four home runs as the Red Sox took the second of a three-game series against the AL East leading Toronto Blue Jays 8-3, giving pitcher Brad Penny his fourth win in a Red Sox uniform. Ortiz also doubled to centre late in the game to show strong signs that the season-long slump he has been experiencing could be coming to an end!!!!

And I thought that I would be no good as a baseball writer!!!! Heading to the USA next weekend, so might have to ply my trade somewhere and see if I can't punch out of the yawn factory that currently employs me - but that's another rant for another board!!!

I had a good feeling it would come in this series. If anyone was going to be intimidated by a slumping Papi, it was going to be the young rotation of the Blue Jays.

Looks like the old man Tek is hitting again too. Great signs.

OMFG was exactly what I said as I was watching too.

Amazing. Keep all sharp objects away from Luis Castillo tonight.

He'll catch that 999,999 times out of 1 million

Anyone watching the game on one now? Philly leading 22-1 in the 9th over the Reds. They were 12-1 after 2 innings. Amazing!
