Well i have Petrenko and Brougham as my emergencies. I'd say after today Petrenko will hold his place so assuming Hodge escapes suspension i'll just play Petrenko. Fortunatly i don't have Cousins

It will be interesting to see who makes way for Thompson and Johncock next week though. Hopefully Petters keeps his spot, or Broughton gets a game!

Over the past couple of weeks there have been a substantial number of new threads started which are particularly specific to either one player, one injury, one team etc. These are having the effect of clogging up the front page of the board so that solid threads are being lost in the pecking order. To assist keep a level of order so that everyone has a fair chance to have their issue / topic discussed could you please adhere to the following when posting:

* Individual player discussion to be in the Player Discussion thread
* Trading discussion to be in the 2009 Trading Discussion thread
* Injury / suspension discussion to be in the 2009 Season Injuries & Suspensions thread
* General DT discussion for topics which do not fit above in the General Dream Team Discussion thread

Each week there will also be new threads established for the following

* Gameday discussion
* Teams (1 stickied for teams only + 1 teams discussion thread)
* Post your scores
* Captains discussion thread

Obviously from time to time there will be a need to create new threads for topics which do not fit into these categories however if the majority of is completed in these 8 threads this will help keep a reasonable level of structure on the board.

Thanks for your support.

Steve Johnson has been cleared of his attempted striking charge against Luke Hodge and Brogan has had his rough conduct charge reduced from 2 weeks to 1. Good news for Dean Cox :thumbsu:

ten news.

"judd in sever doubt for round 2 clash against the lions".

bad news for judd owners

but then again nothing official

Ratts said that Judd would definately start on a report i read on FinalSiren, take it with a grain of salt though.

Anybody here anything about Dean Cox finger today, thought i heard someone say he dislocated it or the likes and was in doubt.

April Fools day i hope.......All rumour and i have nothing to back it up with.

This Raines deal is killing me, not trading till next week but also having Anthony worries me a little.

Think i will hold of as long as i can

Cox played the Brisbane game with a dislocated finger (obviously popped back in), which was the reason for him not taking many marks. Thats what I read anyway. No way he will miss games for it, they will just tape it to one of his other fingers.

Yeah dislocated his finger on the weekend.

Yesterday at training he could only use one hand when handling the ball and kicking. I'd say it's just to get it right for the weekend, should be fine.

Little talk on the AFC board that Tex and Knights may make way for Stiffy and Thompson.

Not sure in regards to Knights why, unless he has picked up a slight injury. this will cause a few ruffles amongst the DT world if true. Alot will have Knights i would imagine.

Word from the Adelaide board is that Tex was going to be dropped, and then Knights picked up a knock at training and is going to miss, so Tex gets a reprieve.

I'll wait till teams come out though :)

From the main board, Hurley has done a quad, out for 4 weeks.

Emerging young key defender, Michael Hurley, strained a quad muscle at training today during a warm-up and will not be available to play against Fremantle.

Football operations manager, Paul Hamilton, said the 19-year-old injured himself during a routine kicking drill.

"While this is disappointing for Michael and our supporters, we were all encouraged by his debut last week and, since this is just the start of the season, we will still see plenty of him during 2009," Hamilton said.

"This is the first soft-tissue injury we have had for the year and these sorts of injuries can occur in young players.

"The positive is that young Darcy Daniher has been playing well and now gets the opportunity to come into the squad as a tall option down back."

Hamilton said a quad injury generally takes four weeks to heal.

Hurley was taken by Essendon with pick No.5 in the 2008 NAB National Draft.

Word is Cook.

Awesome.

Anyway, big shout out to Matthew Knights. The exact same thing happened to Liam Anthony last week (albeit a different injury), and campaignerbag Dean Laidley went along named him just to spite us all. So I say good work Matty Knights and **** you Dean Laidley.

Half of Adelaide's female population on a Friday night?

Swish.

Brilliant :D

Scott Stevens out with a hammy for Adelaide apparently.

Strong word is Walker could be dropped. Probably a little safer now Stevens is injured.

Have they poached Essendons fitness team from last year or something??
