i've got no doubt tucky will keep his spot ... been one of our best over preseason and one of our best in round 1 ... he should slot straight back in especially with our extended injury concerns



did anyone hear about pendlebury pulling up sore and might be in doubt for this weeks game???
i heard it on fox sports news this morning just in passing .... anyone else heard anything about this ???

"The 20-year-old pulled up sore from the Demons' 34-point loss to North Melbourne last Sunday and will have surgery on his navicular bone on Monday."

This is the same type of injury that threatened to end James Hird's career and caused him to miss dozens of games...

Just reported on Foxtel that young Geelong key forward Mitch Brown has suffered a broken leg in the VFL match this morning. Probably no big deal but thought it was worth mentioning.

Brad Ottens has injured his knee for Geelong.

Healy said it was at best a medial ligament, and the worst is an ACL.

Absolutely shattered with the Ottens injury. What makes it that much worse is that I had Fraser just before lockout and he'd been in my team the whole preseason, only to trade him out for Ottens after hearing he was in doubt for round 1.

Mightn't be as serious as first thought...

So long as he doesn't miss longer than a month, I'll probably hold onto him and hope Jacobs/Spencer can keep their place in their respective 22. Fairly confident with Jacobs, as it's probably his spot to lose at the moment and I expect it's much the same with Spencer.
