Hopefully he is named this week. Might do the same if he is. Downgrade Petrenko or something. Ballantyne's return will make him a popular downgrade later in the year.

what are peoples thought on Ryders value at 414k?

do people think he can maintain averaging 90 for a year.

seems to have the potential as well for some big scores over 100.

Ballantyne has not deserved a spot with the Dockers .
I think he will play with Peel this week in WA.

What about Kreuzer at $432, 600 he is a more seasonded ruckman and is averaging nearly 88 / match ?

Ryder is only listed as a defender so it can be confusing, I guess.

At similar prices, you could look at Peter Burgoyne, Mattner or even Shaw. You're making a gamble at this price no matter what, and Ryder seems to have the most upside.

If you think Paddy can play the full season at this breakneck pace he's going at in the middle, grab him. I'd personally take Burgoyne first out of that lot, but if you already have him Ryder would probably be the next best choice.

yeah i think i will get him.

i have Burgoyne and no one in my league has got Ryder so i should do ok out of it if he plays the full season.

Higgins and Houlihan, with both being named, have stuffed up my trade ideas for this round. I know Higgins is doubtful to play, here is my team:

Backs: Goddard, Chornes, Gilbert, Houlihan, Adcock, Hill, Grimes (Petrenko, Suban)

Mids: Ablett, Judd, Selwood, Gibbs, Rich, Coughlan (Cockie, Swift)

Rucks: Cox, Gardiner, (A.Browne, A. Cordy)

Forwards: Rooey, Higgins, Stevie J, J. Brown, Lids, Franklin, Ziebel, (Macaffer, Frontbum)

I have 9 trades left and have $203,000 in the bank. My aim was to trade Higgins for Porpoise, and Houlihan for Drummond. Now I don't really have to make a trade, as I have cover, but I'm in two minds. Any ideas?
