congrats to the guy who made lloyd captain this week, thats what sc is all about, tking a risk! well done my friend

Did someone seriously have Lloyd as captain around here? LOL! :D
For the 7,596 or 2.57% people that have Lloyd in your team, history suggests that you can expect a score around 150, with his average being 142.8 against Carlton, with a reasonable sample space of 5 games.

Lloyd could be a very worthwhile calculated smokey captaincy option if your prepared accept the risk. The following factors below, look very tempting for the very few Lloyd owners.
*No Gumbleton, not that he was playing in the past anyway
*Lucas appears to be past his best and struggling with injuries
*Lloyd needs to redemption as Bombers real captain after 2 poor performances
*Carlton's number one key defender Jamison is injured

I recommended people who had him to make him captain this week, not sure if anyone took my advice or not! :D

i got Remaining salary cap 35,800 any suggestions on trades?

like i sayd mate well done

great advice.. go bombers!
Thanks but seriously was a bit of a lucky guesstimate, I'm not crystal ball in regards to captaincy as I have gone B.Harvey RD 1 and 3, which hasn't exactly been doing me any favours.

Note: I don't have Lloyd in my team, and even if I did I probably wouldn't have the guts to put him as my captain either.

Hi,
i was wondering if any of you knew anything about the SC price system..... do previous rounds affect the price? for instance, say if player a has risen by 20k in the first three rounds, and then scores a breakeven (a's starting price + 20k divided by "magic number), would his price still increase? another example is say if player B's starting price (at the start of the year) was 100k, and he (after three rounds) is now 150 k, and then scores a breakeven for someone on 150 k, would his price still increase (aka momentum??) This applies to my team in the way that i am considering swapping chapman or goodwin for Harvey, but if momentum carries over, i will wait a few more rounds before snapping Harvey up.... Thanks
a lot
MIchael.

i read some more of your post...harvey should be a target for upgrading using your cashcows not for sideways trading...especially chapman...i cant believe ur thinking of trading him out?? and yes harvey will continue to go down over the coming weeks

Chappy & Goodwin are keepers unless inj. for an extended period. So what you are thinking is a complete waste of a trade.
Anyway to answer your question you will find all you need to know at - http://www.tooserious.com.au/

Goodwin - B/E = 147 with an avg. of 101 (will drop by approx. 27k if he scores his avg. over next 3 weeks)
Chappy - B/E = 98 with an avg. of 118 (will go up by approx. 30k if he scores his avg. over next 3 weeks)

Harvey - B/E = 187 with an avg. of 62 (will drop by approx. 90k if he continues to score his avg. over next 3 weeks)

If you really want to get Harvey I would wait and see how he goes. Even if he has a blinder in the next few weeks he will still drop in price. Also try and get the money from somewhere else (thats what cash cows are for)

i only read the first ocuple of lines in your post but you're after tooserious

Great minds think alike:p;) Just you were quicker on the keyboard than me:D:p

i would like some advice on my team................I am going to trade Wells or foley for beams this week- which one though? I am leaning towards dumping foley, because i see no room for improvent, he was close to BOG against WB, and only scored 88, bad effency, and Wells has been scoring 25 odd less points, but is in his WORSE form......when he hits his straps this year (no garuntees) he could score 100 a game..... thanks (BTW 16 trades left...Houli in team, S, STevens in team, L. ANthony in team)
THanks

Keep em you've blown enough trades already

thanks smashh but thats not an option.....i'm not gonna have 500k on the bench for the whole year.................just wanted your opinions on WHICH one

Does anyone know what the hell is going on with Houli???? Is he out of favour, injured or what??? When will he get a game??

I have Raines and Houli. Hill may struggle to get a game IMO. I will be struggling to have a full backline on the park.

Should I keep Houli or trade him out??

If Houli isn't named this week mate then I would definitely be looking at trading him out.

Something just looks wrong with him compared to last year, doesn't seem the same player and looks to have gone a bit backwards.

does anyone know whats happening with liam picken? he got reported for striking deledio but i cant find the results of the tribunal anywhere?

From an artical off the AFL website -

Other Incidents Assessed:
The match day report laid against the Western Bulldogs’ Liam Picken for striking Richmond’s Brett Deledio was assessed. The panel determined that Picken approached the contest with his eyes on the ball. He attempted to spoil the marking contest and narrowly missed the ball, making contact with Deledio’s shoulder with the inside of his elbow area. His forearm also made high contact with the Richmond player. The blood injury sustained by Deledio was not a result of the marking contest, but occurred later during the scuffle on the ground where Deledio was contacted by an unknown player on the other side of his face. The video evidence was inconclusive as to how this injury occurred. Given the player Picken had his eyes on the ball and it was seen as a legitimate attempt to spoil, no further action was taken

T.Hislop
S.Hill
P.Dangerfield
B.Whitecross
M.Robinson

if you had to pick one of these players who would it be? and why?
All oppinions appreciated ;)

Out of Zieball, Brown and Walker who should I put on field?

Can't go wrong with Brown or Walker IMO. I am starting both on the ground as I have Hentshel and Ziebell.

Toss of the coin though I'd probably go Walker, purely based on the fact that he can kick goals. :)

Would trading Cheney or Hill out for Rance this week be a good move seeing as though I have already used 3 trades?

and

If I dont bring in Rance, which two backline rookies would be best on my field this week out of Petrenko, Hill, Suban and Cheney?

Can't say I know a lot about hislop and Whitecross, but dangerfield has looked better by the week. I have him, and was a bit unsure at first, but he is starting to look like gold. I think I will be soon struggling to choose between rich and dangerfield as a midfield starter.
