Im sick of playing a rookie in the backs (Petrenko/Cheney), so Im thinking of going:

Beams --> DeBoer/Cockie

Petrenko/Cheney --> McPhee/Mackie/Gilbert

What are peoples opinions on Gilbert? Is it not worth getting him since hes gone up so much? If I trade Cheney Im just off affording Mackie...as I'd like to have a back rookie still getting games (Cheney and Broughton are giving me donuts)

For me it will be Beams to a midfielder so is about 420k or under.

Then I will need to get rid of Walker (missed the boat last week)

I am very happy with the trades I did:

Ablett ----> Corey

Hurn ----> S.Fisher

I only have four more upgrades. Will bring in Ablett after he has played a game at least.

I hope you haven't traded already. Sam Fisher did get hurt on the weekend doubt he will miss but you never know.

Can anyone tell me how much longer Skippy is out for? I could do with him back in the squad asap

If Anthony gets suspended I'll have Gartlett, Skippy and J Anthony out of the forwards and possibly Ablett, Beams, Hartlett and L Anthony out of the mids so not looking too good for this weeks eliminator

I really want to bury cloke out of my side - however i am waiting for Richo to plummet.

My only concern is he is taking on the saints this week - and they are just murdering their opposition's DT scoring.

I just had a feeling he'd have a break out season. I guess I was wrong although he has improved his value by a decent amount and I'll upgrade him as soon as I get a chance. It was planned to be this week, but injuries in the mids might put it off a week or so

my team is a joke so long as i have cloke in it. I would wait for Richo but because he is not playing this week, i just don't want to. It will give ziebell enough time to make the straight swap to Richo.

I honestly have rookies in my backline that i should probably upgrade first but even they have higher potential then cloke and i just can't wait.

Those trades for me are very likely.

What is everyone doing with Petrenko?
There is no real downgrade options down back with Greenwood the only rookie playing, and i havent seen much of North to know how good he is.
If Raines is names i'll probably just leave him until a good downgrade becomes available.
Thoughts?

Beams --> Coughlan
And
Robinson --> Collins

I have 14 trades left may not do the second trade but might have to do the beams --> Coughlan trade as Collins would probably be on my bench really unless an injury occurs he won't play. As I have Ablett I will cop a doughnut so I think I will just don the Beams--> Coughlan trade and assuring me with a decent score each week. Or should I do both?

I am so sick of dempsey been very disapointing season getting tagged sometimes because of his run out of the backline. He just doesnt want to get the cheap kicks in the back

OK, I am looking at the options of trading out Ablett as I believe there are options there in which I can improve my team.

The two options at this stage are Ablett > Corey and then Pearce > Swan

The second option is Ablett > Bartell and then Pearce > Corey or similar priced mid

Was there any one that wasn't affected by injuries this week? Ablett, Richo, Beams, Fisher? Fingers crossed NG Brown comes back this week.
but i'm kinda annoyed now. was just going to go petrenko -> mackie but with ablett and probably beams out, i will have to trade in the mids to avoid a zero.
i don't think ill trade ablett, and will probably cop a zero, even if i dont want to.

i think mackie will only go up. especially with harley back

In: Thompson/Hayes/Kornes, Murphy

Then next week will be:

Out: Rich, Skippy
In: Corey, Buddy

Lots of trades used, but I will only have 3 upgrades to do - Brown up forward, Otten and Hill in the mids.

What are people thinking about Scotty Thompson this year? Seems to have dropped off the radar a bit. He has some big games coming up, could be about to explode again.
