I'd go Franklin, however I assume you already have him.

Out of those I'd go Roughead/Pavlich.

I think Roughead can average 90 this year.

Yeah, I already have Buddy. I'm a little worried about playing Buddy and Roughy because it's unlikely that they both will score good numbers in the same game.

But I agree with you that Roughead or Pavlich would be the way to go.

I think I'll go Roughy because his BE is low and his cheap and I'll use the extra cash to upgrade Rance in the backline.

Cut my huge man-love for Beamsy and traded him for Cogs. Spent half the day reading up on his life story just to feel more comfortable with it..

Now thats sad...

if carlton win i cant see houli coming back in straight away. anyway i pulled the trigger on a couple of trades

beams -> coughlan
houlihan -> buddy (plz fire)

so that gives me a team of

B: Chornes, Goddard, Fisher, Hodge, Mackie, Hill, Petrenko (Raines, Broughton)
M: Swan, Gibbs, Selwood, McLean, Hasleby, Rich (Coughlan, Anthony)
R: Cox, Petrie
F: Higgins, N Brown, Delidio, Franklin, Ziebell, Walker, Warren (M Brown, Didak)

Bold: Keepers
Italics: Potential keeper

Once Didak comes back I only have 5 spots with non-keepers. Three of them being Rich, Ziebell and Hill who are doing nicely.
15 trades with $300 left

Right lads, I know this is late in the day, but I didn't expect to make this trade

It's either

Mitch Brown -> Chris Yarran

or

Scott Gumbleton -> Chris Yarran

Any thoughts?

Ok here are my options

Ablett> Corey
Raines> Hodge

Ablett>Corey
Raines>Mackie

Ablett> Murphy
Brown> S Johnson

Any thoughts as which way i should go.

I already have Bartell

I think Gumbleton is out for the season isn't he? If so, trade Gumbleton.

Thanks Abs.

For your question I'd go option 2 because I think Houlihan might be back and still has a bit to rise and that Buddy has a great opportunity this rd. But I know fk all, so don't take my word for it.

Should I go
Option 1: Lucas to Riewoldt

or

Option 2: Lucas to Pavlich, Houlihan to Mackie

I didn't really want to touch my backline as I still have 7 on the field. My forward line is my big concern as Mitch Brown is out along with Lucas and Skippy. What I didn't like about option 2 was having a Freo player, as if you're not winning week in week out, it may affect DT scores.

But on the hand, it seems this week seems to be the week to get Mackie on board.

Would like to hear your thoughts...

just did this round's trades.

benched ablett, i reckon he'll be back in a couple of weeks.

traded:

tuck----------->swan
otten---------->coughlan

so i shouldn't cop any zeroes this week, but it's a pity to be getting rid of otten and tuck when they could have gone up a bit more. i'm not too concerned though, since I'm intending for both swan and cogs to be keepers.

F**k it.

Just did Ablett --> Murphy.

Have $151k left, but don't know who to trade out of Brown or Houlihan. Brown can get me Gia, but Houlihan could get me Franklin, Roo or SJ. Don't know if I should sacrifice the points to save money and not picking Roo... or just going with Brown to Gia.

Thoughts?

Just did

Ablett- Swan
Houlihan- Mackie

Was the only way i could avoid a 0, by trading both Ablett and Houlihan. On paper its the biggest sideways trade ever....but in the context of how shit this week has been and the year as a whole, its not that bad :).

Just did Whitecross to Coughlen and Houlihan to Franklin.

Thoughts?

Look good to me (without looking up his BE though, had Whitecross peaked?).

I've gone Ablett to M Murphy and Robinson to Coughlan ... leaves me with $133k to make another upgrade or two next week (15 trades left).
