gee my forward line is in strife

Pav, Sidebottom, Garlett and Brown

I want to bring SJ in - however he'll plummet in price this week

Anyone else nervous about bringing in a saints or geelong player this week?

thinking i may downgrade Garlett to Ballantyne - and wait another week to avoid one donut in the forward line

Probably do Rich -> Anthony and Garlett -> Ballantyne

Leave me with $400-$450k - ready to pounce in the next few weeks

Currently ranked 2,373, and aiming for top 1000. Well I've narrowed down my 2 week plan now Gia is out for 6 weeks. Now all I have to do is pick one:

Option 1
Trade 1: montagna (115 ave)
Trade 2: petrie (90 ave)
Trade 3: 76k back rookie
1 trade remaining
(ave 205 pts)

Option 2
Trade 1: ablett/hayes (120 ave)
Trade 2: petrie (90 ave)
Trade 3: mundy for Cornes (~ +100 pts over 4 week injury period for cornes)
Trade 4: 76k back rookie
0 trades remaining
(ave 210) + 100 once off

Option 3
Trade 1: didak/o'keefe/chappy (100 - 110) ave
Trade 2: stanton/thompson/380 to 395k midfielder (95 - 100 ave)
Trade 3: 76k rookie
1 trade remaining
(ave 195 - 210)

Option 4
Trade 1: mitchell/tuck (100 - 110 ave)
Trade 2: harvey/JB/Davey (90 - 95 ave)
Trade 3: 76 back rookie
1 trade remaining
(ave 190 - 205)

Any thoughts which one is the best option? I'm leaning towards Option 3 myself based on some potential score calculations seems to be the best by a small margin ( and to save a single trade for the remainder of the season...)

Current team is:
Goddard, Lockyer, Adcock, Fisher, Houlihan, Grimes, Broughton, Cornes, Raines
Bartel, Corey, M.Murphy, Gibbs, Kornes, Anthony, Muston, Meyer
Cox, Macintosh, Spencer, Jacobs
SJ, Voldt, Higgins, Pavlich, Deledio, Gia, Franklin, Ballantyne, Hentschel

* Bold are the players that will require trading

mate if ur aiming for top 1000 i strongly advise u to not leave urself 1 trade with 9 rounds to go... i gurantee u will have a heap of injuries still to come for remainder or year.. and no offence but its not like u have 2 gun playing rookies on your bench...

what are people thoughts on rob murphy?? he obviously has his downside just coming back from injury and all.... but could he pull off av 80's for rest of season ??? at only $295000 he could be a great buy

thoughts ??

With Gia out now he will play more in the forward line and should increase his points. Getting back his fitness gradually after coming back from a LTI.

I will be downgrading Gia to Murphy this week then have 400k to upgrade Rich. Trying to decide between Bruce, Stanton, NDS and Priddis. Thoughts?

I might do the same thing aswell

broughton/grimes> c pearce
warren> s johnson

or the other alternative is to wait a week until broughton gets up near the 300k then trade him to pearce make 225k, with that 225k i could get riewoldt. get johnson this week or get riewoldt next week.thoughts??

there aint much between them stevie is averaging 106 and riewoldt 105.

Well my team just got bent over again by injuries .

Only have 3 trades left but with Gia out for 6 and Pav out for ? weeks i am pretty much forced to trade. So here is my plan.

Gia > Rob Murphy
Pav > Reiwoldt/Chapman (which 1?)

Thoughts?

If you only have three trades left, definitely go Riewoldt over Chapman, because of the injury risks associated with Chapman. Apaart from that, it looks pretty good, but Murphy is quite risky, but should turn out nicely after Gia's injury.

riewoldt.

youd only have one trade left, chappy is more than likely to go down again.

Hi guys i have 9 trades left and 111k up my sleeve. i have a few injury clouds and injuries in rioli, hartlett, mcphee , c pearce, pavlich. trades all depend if pavlich, c pearce and mcphee get included into their teams this week but thinking of trading out hartlett for anthony and thinking of trading rioli soemtime soon to try and get n riewoldt or chapman. which one do u guys reckon?

Gia is out for me. Not sure who to get.

Didak - In great form and getting a lot of midfield time

Davis - See Didak. He should play this week

SJ - Allready have 6 Geelong players

Sylvia - In a bad team

Davey - More of a SC player

Byrnes - Job security

SJ wont plummet in price this week hes BE is 103 :S, but i like your strategy with money in the bank

So screwed.... Pav and Gia in the forward line. Gia definietely has to go. This is on top of Cornes and Boak being out for extended periods...

This week, Robinson -> Anthony, N.Brown/Gia -> Brennan/Harvey.
Next week, Malceski -> Silvester, Muston -> Bartel.

I'm sure another injury will come along and muck this up though :p

My first trade will be Coughlan to Anthony, but if Coughlan is named I'll trade Hartlett to Anthony and keep Coughlan.

I am very much undecided on what to do with my next trade. I have the following options:

1) Otten to Corey/Kornes
2) Sidebottom to Didak/Chapman/J. Brown
3) Houlihan to Mackie/Lockyer/Hodge

All 3 options have their advantages and disadvantages and I'm not really sure which one I should do this week and which one I should hold out on.

Any thoughts?

nice to see i got everyone on the Rob Murphy Gravy train... word of warning i have an uncanny ability to turn gravy into sh*t !!:rolleyes:

(i know that is a sarcastic face but i'm serious)

damn hydroxycut wont let me sleep!! :-(

Hey guys never really post on here but would love to hear peoples opinions because my trading this year has been terrible!

Option 1 - Muston - Anthony
Nahas - Aaron Davey

Option 2 - Rich - Anthony
Nahas - Riewoldt

Option 3 - Muston - Anthony
Houlihan - Enright

just stick with houlihan id say for the season. option 2 looks the best to me.

unless your already playing muston and rich on the field, then option 1 probably looks better.
