Its difficult during a season to fully embrace a new dt "supergun"...those conservative feelings of "will he keep it going" have gone...stretched the budget and upgraded my 5th mid to Montagna. Whilst its nice to have Ablett it is now 2 yrs running that he has burnt me with a few games out and i dont trust him.

Liked Scott Thompson at the price...might target him for my last mid....but its good to introduce new blood never chosen before. Not as tho Montagna has been a poor dt'er before this yr but he's a TRUE step up and just an absolute weapon so far. Got him yeahhhhhhhh !

Ok, that's totally it! Only have 7 trades left but I'm doing it!

Warren -> Any forward rookie
Dale Thomas -> Didak

I think we bought a lemon in Muston. Was averaging 117 after his first 2 weeks. Now 3 weeks later his average has plummeted considerably and his price has actually dropped by 4K. Has there ever been another rookie to peak so soon after such a promising start?

Don't really care now, pissed him off this week for Cross. Looking likely to be dropped soon, along with half his team mates as well.

Right now he is my 8th mid so it doesnt matter how well he scores as long as he keeps his spot in the team.

The wet weather didnt really suit the hawks style of play last night so no easy kicks and marks for muston. The problem is him keeping his spot now with gilham to come back. Screw you muston!

the pavlich injury really hurts.

i really dont wanna play ballantyne and warren.

might pull the pin on on rich ---> anthony, then warren ---> riewoldt.

and hope balla holds his spot for the period pav is out for.

Traded Geary --> Hodge this week... not looking like a good one so far.

Am going to be VERY angry with Geary if he returns to his 90+ scores after I traded him out.

Did Ziebell --> Davey last week.

Very happy, DT wise Davey is the man. He loves the handball receives more than Ablett.

Last year there was Josh Hill with 86, 92 and 99 in the first three rounds. The following five rounds he produced 55, 47, 57, 32 and 47. Not quite the same high scores as Muston but no doubt equally disappointing for anyone who picked him up. Don't know about the price movements though.

With Muston as backup and Beams unlikely to rack up 100 each week I decided I couldnt afford to have Watson sitting on the bench for a couple of weeks so traded him for Ablett

But now I need to get rid of Warren, tossing up between Nathan Krakour (sp?) or Campbell Brown, NK has been consistent all season whilst Brown might be finding some form hopefully?

Like many others, I traded in Muston after his second game (for Anthony :eek:) and now I want out - I can cash in around $100,000 by swapping them back, leaving me 5 trades and $125,000 in the bank. I also have Pav who probably needs to be traded, giving me about $490,000 to spend on a premium forward. There's no one in that price range, so who would be the best bet out of all the forwards? Steve Johnson is only $405k this week. :thumbsu:

I would have been able to do a straight swap of Pav for SJ, except that Pav's 16 means that he lost $25k in value this week. :mad:

So should I go Muston -> Anthony and Pav -> SJ, leaving me 4 trades?

Last forward spot.. Brown, Davey, Petrie, Brennan. Even Lovett.

All about the same price, I have no idea how to split these guys.

Any help would be great guys.

If you have a playing forward bench, don't trade out Pav. He should only be 3 weeks with the calf injury so it's not really LTI territory.

I now have to trade Ben Warren. I can't rely on the 20 points from Ballantyne as cover.

Any cheap options that finish the year well?

Giansiracusa is looking like the only serious option. I'm not paying full price for Chappy, Riewoldt or ROK.

Who knows if Neon Leon will play or not week to week?
