The BigFooty.com 2010 AFL National Draft Competition
It's back again for Twenty Ten!
This year one person is guaranteed to win a copy of Call of Duty Black Ops and an Xbox 360 to play it on!
CoD Black Ops is available in shops now. The final details of the prize (specs, RRP etc) will be available soon.
The rules are simple and it is an easy two-step process to enter.
Winning the prize: that’s the hard part.
To enter post the players you think will be picked in the first round of the AFL National Draft on 18th November in the order you think they will be picked.
Then send your name, address, phone number and BF user name to bigfootydraft@gmail.com (this information will be kept private and deleted when the competition prize has been awarded).
If you tip the most first round picks correctly, you’ll win the prize. In case of a tie we have a tie-breaking system detailed below.
You’ve even got a head start – Mitch Wallis has already been picked at position 22 under the father/son rule.
Please, only entries should be posted in this thread.
Entries close 11:59PM AEDT on the 17th November. You can post or edit your entry post up until that time.
You can talk about this comp in the following thread:

The Rules and Terms
- This is a competition to see who can pick the first 25 draft picks in correct order. The description on how to enter (above) forms part of the terms of the competition, but everything should be clarified below. Contact us via this link if you have any questions: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/sendmessage.php
- Only entries posted in this official forum thread are accepted. The first post of the official thread gives you the format in which you must post your entry.
- To post an entry, you must register for a BigFooty.com user account.
- You must complete both steps in the entry process by 11:59PM AEDT on the 17th November, 2010.
- You may edit your entry post. Entries which are posted or edited after the deadline, according to the forum and email time stamp, are immediately invalidated.
- One entry per person, only one entry per household. Multiple entries by the same person using aliases or from the same household will invalidate ALL entries by that person or household. "Aliases" are determined by the judges and we reserve the right to identify these at any time, including retrospectively after the winner/s is/are announced.
- Attempts to circumvent the rules or spirit of the competition render that entrant's entry (or entries) invalid.
- The prize for most closely tipping the first 25 picks in the 2010 AFL National Draft (which takes place on 18th November 2010) is a copy of Call of Duty Black Ops and an Xbox 360 - full details to come.
- A correct tip is the correct player at the correct pick number.
- Tie breaker! In the event of a tie, we count back down the list of picks. If only one person in the tie tips the first pick correctly, they get the prize. If both players tip the first pick (or both get it wrong) we go to pick two and apply the same test. And so on up to pick 25. So tips for earlier picks are more valuable than later tips. If this tie-breaking method fails to deliver a winner we apply a points system to the tied entries:
- 5 points for each correct tip (correct player in correct position)
- 1 point for each player correctly nominated, but in the wrong position.
- Highest score wins.
- The judges reserve the right to edit existing rules or introduce further rules to protect the integrity and good intentions of the competition.
- The judges will be Vader, Chief, Fred and Jim Boy. Their decisions in this competition are final. No discussion will be entered into.
