have been thinking about getting goodes for either varcoe or roughy but swans dont have a easy run home(and that would make 5 swans),waters is my worst back (enright not much better) could trade waters out but have davis and sos as cover.anyway only 100k in bank would like one upgrade this week and next week downgrade someone and up grade nick nat a nudi sitting 4th in league.

gonna go down as a legend - and his career has some time to go yet.

opponents arent gonna trouble him too much, and he's on the ball again by all reports. i traded him in when his priced tanked about 10 weeks ago - have not regretted it.

Fyfe > Goodes


Option 3 -

Keep last trade till Riewoldt bottoms out and go Fyfe > Riewoldt.

Thoughts?

Have you still got Waters JM? Scores of 75, 62, 70, 40 the last 4 weeks couldn't instill to much confidence in him. Webbs to Lake looks a ripper trade IMO.

I still have a def, mid and fwd to cash in on and wanted to know if there is anyone to look out for.

For fwd I'll go mcneil for more MPP, but what about mid and def rookies that might play a few games?

i continue on my trade freeze.

last 2 games are easy wins, and then with my league the top 4 are dominating and relatively equal, so i need the remaining 4 trades for my final upgrades preferably, rather than any LTI.

bench cover remains minimal currently, with M7, M8, F9 all gone, and F8 no security.


plenty of time, no league pressure til the finals - hopefully i get to follow all this thru, and not have some LTI screw it all up.

this..... although just found out my f8 has just been ruled out for the season (tarrant with a broken thumb) getting a bit nervous now as ive dominated all year and dont want it to unravel come finals time

I'll be doing:

Webberley > James Kelly

and

Hille > Mumford

leaving me with 4 trades and the following team:

Backs: Hodge, Goddard, Malceski, Kelly, Shaw, Gilbee, Enright (Strijik, C Heath)

Mids: Ablett, Bartel, Boyd, Swan, Judd, Kornes (Farmer, Gysberts)

Rucks: Sandi, Mumford (T West, Lobbe)

Forwards: J Brown, Gia, O'Keefe, R Murphy, Pavlich, Boomer, S Johnson (Hitchcock, Griffiths)

That should get me into the finals, barring injury, Ill look at using my last 4 trades on Upgrading Kornes, S Johnson, Gia or Murphy i think.

Thoughts?

Yeah Waters has been on my mind mate.

But then again Enright has had two shit weeks in a row aswell and I'm not going to get rid of him.

Something tells me that Sam Fisher is good value over Lake cause he is capable pumping out massive scores too.

Fisher would also be alot cheaper too and leave me more money for my last upgrade.

Its a tough decision. I really can't decide out of Lake (best pick but hardly any coin left), Fisher (cheap as chips and will have money left over for last upgrade)

If I go Webberly to Lake then I either have to hope that Riewoldt falls to $400,000 while Fyfe keeps going up.

Haha, anyone got a link? I notice that you're looking to get rid of Fyfe JM, after extolling his virtues as a great supercoach player and would be a perfect F7 for the rest of the year.

You know Blair will most likely be phased out of the side shortly in the run to the finals? Cloke, Medhurst, Dick, Maxwell all have to fit back into the side.

I brought Blair in as cover, so what?

It was a calculated risk but it didn't pay off as I still lost my Bigfooty Div 1 match.

Fyfes a great little player. I don't really want to get rid of him and would prefer to keep him as an emergency but at the end of the day if I want Riewoldt then Fyfe is the only one that is worth enough to upgrade. Gumby and Hitchy on my bench aren't worth even animal crackers.

Gilbee - I assume you'll have less Dog's players than Saints (ie Goddard, Montagna, NDS)..Gilbee is ultra consistent

Fisher - Too many saints, got the Gilbert issue, however have a better run home and don't Saints normally have an injury (ie rest)..

Either way, both good choices.... I'll sit on the fence for this one...

I don't have Webber so can't follow his progress..

However a cursory look on Webber, shows games at rd 7 to 11 then a break then rd 15 and 16..Looking at Webber stats after rd 11 I'm surprised he got dropped (if he did) so 20, 23, 17 possies looks pretty good..

But with Roberton, with Barlow out it creates an extra spot..Roberton has played rd 13 to 16 and besides rd 15 has been consistent..

can't split them.

Hold the Roo trade for a week or two. Roo has a BE of 204, the PODS loves Kadinia Park with 6 5 goal hauls there this year and up againist the hapless Lions this week.

PODS scores at KP > 96, 119, 156, 144, 131, 145

Wouldn't be trading! Maybe Captain material.

According to Tooserious Roo has a BE of 157 and Pods 151.

Where did you get this Roo 204 BE?

IMO Roo shouls score more than Ipod for the rest of the year, so now is the time to do it?

F7 + F8: Rockliff, Tippett.

Kurt Tippett is to be traded out. Options are as follows:

1. Downgrade Tippett to Higgins or Leon Davis, and have Higgins/Davis as a sub at M7 (bench). With the spare cash, upgrade Hunt to Malceski.

Pros: Gain 35ppg from Malceski.
Cons: Higgins/Davis are unreliable (although at present, will be bench players).

2. Upgrade Tippett to Didak. Didak replaces Brent Harvey, who becomes M7 (bench). Won't have the cash to upgrade Hunt.

Pros: Didak could explode pointswise. Perfect bench coverage for the mids. Saves 1 trade by not bringing in Malceski.

Cons: Josh Hunt.

Don't have Hunt as your 7th defender imo.

If you have traded smartly, you can easily have what others call "premiums or keepers" sitting on your bench.

I have Waters and Leon Davis on the bench providing excellent cover.....and yes they are the weakest players!

Now I want to upgrade Hunt (Bench) - who is going to be the better option out of Fisher or Enright?

Tippett needs to be moved on - it just so happens that my team is pretty much set apart from Josh Hunt, so I don't need to trade all the way down to a rookie. I got a donut last week due to Dal Santo not playing...not going to get a donut again due to a last minute withdrawal and 2 non-playing emergencies.
