Re: Round 11 Captain

Does anyone have stats on how rucks have been going against GC? I'd do it myself but for some f'n reason i can't see any historical match stats on FF :(

Nevermind, firefox worked :thumbsu:

Rucks against GC so far -
Warnock 100
Hudson 113
Jamar 121
Trengove 95
Bellchambers 86 / Hille 66
Leuenberger 109
Jacobs 105
Vardy 76

Fair to say Cox is far better than all these lads so anything could happen this week.

Re: Round 11 Captain

At this stage Judd. But I might be trading Priddis in and it would be very tempting to give him the C. Although I normally like to let players settle in my team before the get the call up. Gave it to Jobe in his second week and he went down with a hammy. Looking back it was probably too much pressure on the guy in his second week at the club. Don't want to make the same mistake again.

Enjoyed that.

Re: Round 11 Captain

Thats what I'm thinking. Can anyone give us any stats on his form v WCE when he was at Geelong.

Rd 22 2010, 176
Rd 11 2010, 121
Rd 11 2009, 175
Rd 22 2008, 107
Rd 13 2008, 169

3 * 170 in his last 5, thats good enough for me to take the risk. I know the team is weaker but the young guys love feeding him the ball every chance they get.

I'll be trading him in and making him captain ;)

Re: Round 11 Captain

Saints love playing a man loose in defense which means the pies would have one also... gee i wish i had the balls to chuck Shaw the big C. Anyone give me some more confidence?

He hasn't scored over 111 against them in the last 4 years. He would average about 80 as well, because his scores are something like, 110, 100, 111, 70, 45 - avg 87.

Saints also love locking players like him down. Avoid. Fisher from the Saints would be ideal though if you have him, Collingwood are allergic to playing anyone on Fisher and he always tears us up. For example:

147, 110, 177, 129, 118, 100, 106.

Avg 127.
Over the last 3 games, an average of 144.

I got him this week and he looks good with a C
from TS
Predicted score of 129
v WCE 157
at Subi 125

Pretty solid and its his 200th, should have a ripper

Re: Round 11 Captain

I wish I had the gumption to put the C on Priddis. Alas, I think I'll go with Selwood.

Woe is me.

Re: Round 11 Captain

Narrowed it down to Ablett, Murphy and Fisher.

Re: Round 11 Captain

This could quite possibly end up one of the stupidest moves of my SC year, but I'm going to go with my new recruit, Jonathan Brown.

It appears illogical, but if he rips out a 150+ score, it could skyrocket me up the rankings, given his uniqueness. Or alternatively he could have a shocker and net 30 points.

You're a braver man than I. I like the thinking, but you could've chosen a better team than the Swans to do it against - they always seem to have our number. Hopefully the absence of Craig Bolton works out for you.
