So as long as he plays alright Hodge is the only one who will knock him out regardless. Anyone think he survive ahead of someone else when Hodge comes back? Also, is Ellis injured?

Ellis was been dropped, if you will. Will play for Box Hill this weekend.

Hodge for mine is more likely to replace Shiels or Whitecross than Savage

Didn't watch the game last night but 58 is very uninspiring for Bruce. Any thoughts on the type of role he'll play this year?

Deliberately didn't pick him because I don't think he'll be playing with the same freedom he has at Melbourne. Will more likely be playing different roles each week

Like Jolly last year, might take some time getting used to playing in a new team, that's without a role change as well.

Quick question...i know its 2 early in the season to be making trades but considering selwoods injury ect and his guarenteed drop in value, as well as the potential 4 him 2 miss next round.....is Swan/Mundy > Selwood/Pendelbury...probs a dumb question but geez i love trading and will make this trade happen if Selwwod is out next week...and Swan would be a shoe in 4 captain week in week out...and Mundy is the complete star of his team, big rise in value 4 him i expect this year....but than when would Swan rack up his usual touches and kick 3 goals again...i probably think next week

I wouldn't have thought so, one of his biggest strengths is his engine, and he loses that if used as a sub. I think we had a few guys playing at Box Hill who could push him out of the side if he keeps playing like he did against Adelaide, but I think the coaches see him as a starter for the time being.

Does anyone know how to reinstate a member of a private league who accidentally removed themselves prior to Round 1 and who's place has since been "auto filled"?

The SuperCoach Q&A says it's possible but does not provide any instructions on how to do it

Howdy, why is Xavier Ellis not playing atm, he's one of my fave players. Yes this is a dreamteam question, but also just wanna know where he is at. Has he been overtaken? Injured? Out of form?

He wasn't great in the pre-season but played at Box Hill (and was apparently very good) on the weekend, so he wasn't injured. Either out on form or perhaps with the interchange rules still needed a bit more fitness (Hodge also played at Box Hill, fit enough to play, not fit enough for the firsts). We'll see if he gets in the side this weekend.

No-one can say definite, but I'd be surprised. He's been named on the ground, not the extended bench, so I'd say he'll play.
