I e seen zorko's name mentioned a bit but know nothing about him.. What kind of player is he??

Look up the Youtube video from a Queensland v WA game.

If you just search Dayne Zorko you'll find it.

It's pretty much a highlights package of Zorko in the last quarter.

Based on the video, I would compare him to Rockliff. We have two now!

At the end of the day we gave up 14 places in the draft for Zorko. Not a bad result really. Most of the reading on the draft is that the top 10-12 are very good and then from about 20 onwards its pretty level. Therefore 14 places may not be that bad considering we coul end up getting the same player regardless.

Small forward with midfield potential. Very dedicated and professional player. He's worked hard for his shot.

Stoked with this pick up! Zorko is gun- midfielder, in and under and a goal kicker and only 22.

Only perceived downside is his height I think he's around 179cm.

Hopefully the reason we accepted to trade Power because they know Redden will refuse any offer from GWS next year, or better still that he has already signed a contract extension, fingers crossed

I like the sound of that, extremely happy with this seeing as it only cost us 14 spots in a weak draft.

Cousins, Crawford and Aker's heights are in that range. It didnt stop them from playing 'well'. All Brownlow medallists. Even Jarryd Blair is shorter than that. Its about heart and application.

How would this happen? Essendon don't have any draft picks we would want and any players would have to approve it, wouldn't they?

Or can the trade go through subject to player approval coming later?
