Every other club (almost) has. Bennell wouldn't crack a game in any side in the league.

Neeld's not going to make a decision before he needs to IMO - and especially not before he knows what areas the club has addressed with FA and trades.

If we don't have enough pace on the list then Bennell may well stay.

44. Rohan Bail

Opinion

Ro has been serviceable this year. Neeld used him as a utility this season and I truly believe it hampered his development.
I look back to that game against Collingwood two years ago and I see so much potential in him as a speedy wingman. His agility and endurance would then be used to best to their effects.

In short, his effort cannot be doubted, but his disposal is amongst the worst on our list. Really hope he can lift in 2013 and hold down a permanent position in the team.

Verdict

Love Ro but if other clubs show interest, I wouldn't be opposed to a trade.

Thanks for the positive responses :thumbsu: , bit more keen to get my Geelong and Essendon ones done now

I will lose my shit if Martin gets traded for picks...

Well it's not going to happen now that Q.Lynch has been signed to Collingwood. At the time Collingwood hadn't signed Lynch, and I wasn't sure which rumours to believe about where Lynch was going. I thought Carlton, and so Collingwood needed someone else to fill the 2nd ruck role. Thought they could offer Martin a decent salary and he would then request a trade, and so Melbourne would have to take under's (possibly, if Martin really didn't want to be at Melbourne in 2013 it's not worth keeping him).
Also, like I said, didn't think much of trades. They are pretty hard to predict as it is.

But now looks like Martin won't leave (or won't even be looked at too by other clubs) as I can't see a club that would be able to use him as well as Collingwood would.

Also means Pedersen is no chance to go to Melbourne, he's just a lesser version of Martin imo. But was just a prediction, and was attempting to do it before the off-season really got underaway.

Senior List

[Hogan (MD-17yr old) 2014]

Current 2013 senior spots vacant: 0

Rookie List

IN:

OUT: Lawrence (tbc)

Current 2013 rookie spots vacant: 1

does Hogan take up a spot on the list for 2013?
I believe so.

Crouch was on Adelaide's senior list this year, or at least on their website he was listed in it.

I don't think he takes a spot though
Yeah, you're right - according to this MFC article he will officially be on the club's list in 2014.

Anyway, I've added the list status to the OP. I suppose there will be a change later to the rookie list details but until the AFL further clarify how the new list system will work I'll leave as is for the time being.

Hey guys just wanting to know where Jordan Gysberts is at was he injured last year? Looked good the previous year

Gysberts was injured pre-season, yes

He then played his first game of the year for Casey and had his jaw broken, resulting in another 6 week lay off

Has talent, needs to get his fitness up MAJORLY and needs some bulk to compete as an inside mid

Contracted for next year, would possibly be traded for the right deal

Hey guys, sorry to intrude, but whats the story with Jurrah? Is he still on your list? Surely if he wants to go somewhere and is listed you guys should get some compo right?
Anyway good luck with Dawes. For the record i was opposed to us getting rid of him. Frankly i hope he makes us pay and he and Clarke kick bags every week! My wife follows the Dees so i take an interest in you guys, oh and her too.
Cheers!

Jurrah is now out of contract, so can just leave and nominate for one of the drafts i suppose, no compo when that happens

Here is the remaining list of 2012 expiring contractees up for renewal, FA transfer, trade or delisting. Dunn is in contract negotiations atm and we should hear of a contract renewal with him soon. 14 is still quite a list though.

Rohan Bail Sign
Clint Bartram Sign
Matthew Bate (UFA) Delist
Jamie Bennell Delist
Lucas Cook Delist
Troy Davis Sign
Lynden Dunn (UFA) Sign
Neville Jetta Delist
Joel Macdonald 50/50
Ricky Petterd 50/50
Jared Rivers (UFA) Sign
James Sellar Sign
Jake Spencer Sign
James Strauss Sign

Possibly Fitzpatrick too.

Agree HFF, Bartram signing would have to be conditional on the state of his knee problem though. Unfortunate.

Agreed. He is obviously rated very highly amongst the group so I'm hoping he can comeback. Might take him some time but hopefully he can do it.

Reckon JMac might be in trouble if Dunn is re-signed. He can play that medium defender role and his kicking is far better than JMac's. Would like to sign him for depth though.

Don't think Davis will get another deal. No room for him on our list, particularly if we land Pedersen who can play back.

Strauss is out of contract. So are the following:
OOC (in number order) Bartram, Bennell, Petterd, Strauss, Cook,
Jurrah, MacDonald, Jetta, Davis, Spencer, Bail, Sellar

Strange that there has been no news on unrestricted free agents Bate and Dunn, no other clubs seem interested while we aren't rushing to sign them back up, I doubt we would want Bate back but I would if thought we would try to secure Dunn before he signs somewhere else.
