Yeah, it indicates pretty good growth for us considering we have not played finals in a bit. Some of those are new Tassie memberships but most of the new ones are non-Tassie which indicates that there is room for growth both there and at home.

35k would be an awesome result for us and is achievable if we maintain the same rate of uptake from this point as we did in 2011. Recent trends indicate the rate of uptake is actually increasing on last year so we might even get more.

No surprise.

Membership sales are basically driven by expectation. Generally the shorter a team is in the betting for the flag the closer it is to maximising potential income from membership sales. Richmond are about 66s and need every boost we can get.

The pre season win versus Geelong acts as a timely boost to expectations and creates a bit of feelgood about the club.....hence a boost in sales.
