Increasingly thinking that the Eagles would be my preference for a GF oponent. Despite their run, and obvious height advantage.

Coming off the heat of the west, a grind against the pies on the road, and to travel again vs the swine for another grind. Coming off three tough games (well, can't really count north, so only 2 on the road), they will have taken the hardest path off any team through the finals. Hopefully, it will have taken its toll by the time they get to the big one, and hopefully us.

Im surprised they Pies are still in it. Keep smashing each other boys.

West Coast ball use abysmal .. had their chances ... Collingwood will need to play a great deal better than this to beat Sydney. Two tough games in succession would be a huge effort to get into GF .

We got Collingwoods measure........WC would have potentially given us more grief with their tall forwards and ruck combo.

Having said that, Sydney should knock Collingwood off next week, but you just never know.

Agreed. I'm amazed Collingwood won, the Eagles were all over them in the first 15-20 minutes. Can't really see Collingwood rolling the Swans as that effort would have taken its' toll. However, you never know.

Just supports my theory that dominant rucks really don't matter all that much.

Pies have a pretty good record against Sydney don't they? BS that the Pies cop a six day break while Crows get an eight day break instead of both having seven though.

Collingwoods win was admirable and they showed great heart considering the loss of Jmac this week. I hope we play them in GF we have their measure and they will be sore after 3 tough finals.

That statement would bother me if the Pies were getting closer on the scoreboard every match. The fact is, they're not!!

I would be most pleased to have the Pies as a GF opponent if we make it.
