Haha Geelong haven't even been close to finishing outside the top 2 for 6 years and we aren't even going to make the top four now. I hope the bookies think the same as you guys as there will be more money to be made off this team yet. Yes we probably won't go as well as this year but there is a massive massive gap between where we finished this year and fifth. The only games we lost this year were after our finals position was assured and we were preparing for finals. That seems to be lost on most.

As for Hawthorn finishing on top, rofl. No key defenders, no ruckman, 1 paced midfield with little depth and no decent medium sized forwards unless the Gunston pick turns up a winner. But with a name like Gunston that seems unlikely :D. If they win the premiership it will be the worst premiership team since Collingwood 1990 or Essendon 1993 (depending on which one of those was the worst). Grandfinal will most likely be out of Collingwood and Geelong again. An injury free Fremantle under Lyon is the most likely challenger to those two. West Coast and St Kilda the possible wild cards. Can't see anyone else challenging.
agree smith, savage, shoenmachers, stratton, suckling, bruest, gunston are too inexperienced and will be found out against the quality geelong and collingwood teams. keeping bruce and bateman WOW-waste of space:eek:

Hmmm, if we finish 13th we'd probably get both Joe Daniher AND Josh Caddy. Nice little stockpile of versatile big men and young up and coming midfielders. Mightn't be such a bad scenario if Essendon do finish 13th! :)

This is clearly an accurate reflection of how events will transpire. Only a fool would argue with it.

Put your house on Fremantle at $1.90. Easiest money going around.

7 sides are $1.50 or under to make finals, and the next shortest price at $1.75, no thanks.

Crows odds horrendous, why should they be shorter than Dogs/Rich?
In fact I can't see any of Ess, Freo, North as value. At all.
They're roughly similar chances at this stage.
Wait & see what happens in the NAB. If one of the younger sides get into the final they are better than 50:50 to make the 8, wouldn't bet on them at less than $2 though.

Crows play GWS, Suns and Port twice - that is 6 games and half way to making the 8. Dogs are the surprise.

1 Collingwood Still has the best list
2 West Coast Got a taste for it
3 Hawthorn Midfield getting old will hold them back
4 Geelong Still better than the rest even without Ottens
5 Carlton No key forwards will tell again. Can cause upsets though
6 Fremantle Bound to improve defensively
7 Essendon Same again until midfield and forwards develop
8 Adelaide Better than last year suggests. Can jump up
9 Richmond Is there any other position
10 St. Kilda Will drop, inevitable. Too slow
11 Sydney Sides will go past them in 2012
12 North Melbourne No self belief, one step back before two steps forward
13 Melbourne Confused club, no idea what's going on
14 Bulldogs No key forward, no grunt
15 Lions Same as Melbourne
16 Gold Coast Still young, will still get whipped
17 Port Adelaide Same again, no depth, no talent, no hope
18 GWS The % booster, new kids on the block

Premiers Collingwood (Only injuries will stop them)
Runners-Up Carlton (Please God make this happen)
Brownlow Pendlebury
Coleman Buddy
NAB Cup Fremantle
