Hardwick, Hartley and Jackson will not allow that to happen, of that I am certain. They will know what is required to be done. Only real concern I have is with managing the salary cap TBH. It "may" stop us going out and doing what is required. But, having said that, I may be well off the mark.I hope so. Still worried we'll take the typical Richmond approach of thinking now that we've made the finals once we'll automatically just keep doing it and just naturally keep getting better. Talk of minimal list changes and drafting worries me and smacks of resting on our laurels and "locked and loaded" crap. Our ultimate downfall after 2001 & after 2008's so-called "best 9th ever".
People say we shouldn't give too much weight to today's result alone, but that's exactly what we should do. Finals is the ultimate litmus test of players & lists.
It's the defeats that need to be studied & learnt from moreso than the wins. The bad quarters in the wins too for that matter, because we had more than a few of them as well.
But mark my words, they will know where we are lacking and will take appropriate action to fix it, of that there is no doubt in my mind.
