I'd take Jetta of the two, strikes me as a very similar player to Walters at freo, or that's the kind of role I'd like to see him moulded into.

The only thing they have in common is that they're both Indigenous. Jetta has no pace, goal sense or X-factor IMO.

no pace? not sure about that, comparable to Walters anyhow I'd suggest. pace is not optional in a small forward role, wouldn't have made it this far without it.
there are certainly other aspects to his game that need work, but if he has further development in him then I reckon it's in the Walters kind of role it should be applied.

But Jetta isn't a small forward? Rarely seen him played in that position, probably because he has insufficient pace. Jetta is a half back flanker / potential inside mid type of player, stocky, fairly strong and can stick a tackle.

guess we'll have to disagree on that one, I'd have him as a small forward. having said that, he may not be good enough in the end.

had a look on the club website, looks like the bio is a year out of date though

He battled to make an impression but competed well as a small forward and showed his commitment with a courageous attack on a high ball against St Kilda in round 20. He has talent and can play either forward or back – he was mainly used forward in 2012.

Nah you're right in my eyes dude, I've said that in the past, copped a hiding for it too, but I see him playing a small forward role VERY well. And I'm not sure why people say he doesn't play that position, he actually plays more in the forward line than anywhere else as your quote from the MFC bio page states.

I reckon Jetta would be behind Kent, Blease and even Byrnes for the small forward role which really doesn't say much about his potential for that role IMO. Struggling to fit him in anywhere Nev

I like Byrnes. Just take him out of the midfield. Put him in a forward pocket or something. There's still a little bit left in the tank. I think the performance of our team in general made it all appear much worse then it really is. When the team is lifting and going well, I'm sure Byrnes will be alright. (if he even gets a game ;) )

Dude where do you think Byrnes has been playing.

Byrnes aint a forward pockets arseh*le. Said it before we recruited him, he doesnt rove packets and his set shots at goal are terrible. He's a short flanker with terrible skills, nothing more than VFL fodder.

Jetta, cant believe he has survived this long (i would have preferred we kept Bennell ahead of him and thats saying something), as mentioned above, comparison to Walters is nothing short of hilarious. We need a proper forward pocket, right now on our list we have none.

Nahas for free at the end of the draft or PSD? It was only two years ago he had a great year for the Tigers.

comparison to Walters was more about the kind of player he should be developed into, they share some physical characteristics, there was no suggestion Jetta and Walters were on par at present.
and it may be too big a leap for Jetta to make anyhow.

Why get Nahas if we are looking for an upgrade, he is no improvement on the two blokes you've bagged.
His most recent year he did not feature heavily yet the Tiges were also short of a small forward.
We do need to fill this position eventually but lets wait until we can actually get someone who makes us better.

It wouldn't surprise me if we are trying hard to offload one of our list cloggers with pick 40 for a small upgrade in picks (Blease, Tapscott, Bail etc).

That way we can take 2 picks in the draft, upgrade Clisby and delist Jetta if anyone decent falls through to the PSD.
