NFL 2013 NFL Playoffs - Divisional Round

If the Saints win this week it will probably be our best ever win (apart from the SB).

We're either going to need a huge effort or a Seattle choke.

I could live with this! 49ers upset the Panthers and San Fran host the NFC Championship game

At least you won't have to deal with the mercurial Alex Smith this time.

That storyline amuses me a little so might go for niners-Saints.
All the hoopla of no more games at Candelstick, then they come out and get a NFC CG with the #5 seed.

Yeah we would have drag out all the alumni again, not sure they would be allowed out of the nursing home again so soon

Hell yeah. Well done NFL for that sked.

Sunday will be boss with breakfast brews to be had and then I can get up and watch San Fran vs the Panthers arm-wrestle pre-work and then spend my morning return to work adequately distracted by an underwhelming Denver vs San Diego game.

Will be worth it if we get SF@SEA or NO@CAR for the NFCCG. A divisional game for the Super Bowl would be awesome.

Never thought I'd see the day. But that's 4 boring teams in the NFC Divisional rounds.

Can not give a flying **** about those teams.

I guess I'll go for the Panthers though (I did tip a Rivera COTY award)

AFC looking great though..... As long as Denver win.

Manning vs Brady
Manning vs Colts

Both would be huge.

Boring watching the best teams?? Ok. I suppose you're not used to seeing good defence with all that College 20/20 stuff. And as drd mentioned, coming from a Falcons fan. Come on Jugg...err....DB.

You expect me to take you serious when you (and drd) make idiotic comments like that which make it obvious that you haven't looked beyond Houston (/Baltimore) shores in the last 2 years?

I've watched the Falcons many times....I just happen to fall into a deep sleep early in the game.

my tips were rubbish last week.

but ill have another crack.

Seahawks by 10
Patriots by 14
Broncos by 3
49ers by 8

Im starting to get excited about some multis I put on in August.

Put 2 on

1st one was Hawks to win AFL into Broncos to win AFC and Seattle to win NFC

$100 on at 22.5's pays $2250

2nd one was Hawks to win AFL, Ablett brownlow, Boston Red sox World series into Denver superbowl

$10 on at 190-1 pays $1900

so...If Denver beats Seattle in the superbowl I win 4200, If seattle beats Denver in the superbowl I win 2250, if Denver beats any NFC team other than Seattle I win 1900.

So im all in on Denver.

Very solid round of games.

Im going

(6)New Orleans at (1) Seattle

Brees will like the dome, but seattle's D is awesome. Earl Thomas will be everywhere. Saints should be able to get pressure on Wilson through Jordan, but I think seattle will just pound it with Lynch and run a fair bit of option and bootleg plays. If Harvin is fit I can't see them losing.

(4)Indianapolis at (2) New England

Upset. Luck is fearless, and NE is banged up massively. Just lost Spikes to IR. Im probabaly overrating the colts. Im leaning torwards either a tight Colts win or blowout NE win.

(5) San Francisco at (2) Carolina

Kaepernick isn't going to be allowed to scramble whenever he wants against the panthers front 7. Pretty much a pick em in my mind though.

(6)San Diego at (1) Denver

Denver should crush the chargers. I dont read too much into his struggles against the chargers, its his overall play off record that concerns me.

One call that was actually a law of the game that happened 13 years ago.

Some people LOOOOOOVE to hang their hat on such travesties. There is ALWAYS GOING to Be TERRIBLE CALLS that rip the heart out of games and people will forever remember these like it's a testament to the reason why teams won/loss …especially when it happens at the death. Unfortunately, that's sports. The NFL seem to have changed things in recent times with 'sensible' non-calls to avoid further avoid allowing the game to be decided by an officials decision.
Don't stress the Broncos will win this week, the refs will make sure of it then more than likely get to the SB. The NFL wants slaphead there so he has a chance at another ring.

So the Chargers will need to play LIGHTS OUT /smart to have any chance. I think it's a 50/50 game at best as the Chargers HC, Mike McCoy, ( Broncos coaching staff 2009-12) would need to channel on the same blueprint that he used in Week 15: Clock management = 65% possession AND NO TURNOVERS.

Chief - GG has gone crazy with his allcaps.
Can you change the settings to what they used to be.
ie. When all characters are in caps, it gets automatically changed to lower case.

It's suprising to no one that fans of teams that have benefitted from such calls think that they're unimportant and others should move on.

I'll remember that. :)
