Too much money in the midfield IMO. I'd look to downgrade one of Boyd/Pendlebury and then upgrade either Daniher or Staker.

Those with Vlastuin....do you really think he'll line up round 1?

I don't know much about Tigers, but I would've thought he might get 6-8 games later in the season.

I doubt he'll play early, and if he does I'm fairly certain he'll wear the vest. Could be a very good downgrade option later in the season, but right now he won't get anywhere near my team.

Well said. And especially when there are so many far better rookie back options in Goodes, Docherty, Stevenson, Terlich, Van Unen, Pittard, Brown, Staker etc, why would Vlastuin be high on people's radar?

All reports are he is every chance to play Round 1, most likely sub though. NAB Cup will determine it but we do like playing our first rounder from the start, only reason I am not picking him is cause we finally have depth.

Not sure how you can say that about O'Keefe given how he came home last season. Sure he's ageing and might start comparatively slowly in 2013, but he's a very solid pick IMO. People in DT Land sometimes fall into the same age/youth fallacy that dooms teams in their recruiting, where promising kids always seem to trump experience. I have a feeling Chapman in 2013 might be a good example of this after being written on in the back half of 2012.

Thanks, i've heard that both have had very good preseasons and both along with nick riewoldt are my more unique picks.

comments about rookies are false comments in this point in time. will of course be all round 1 starters when this season starts. but what ya think other than that. all players are heavily researched. pretty happy but also welcome to criticism.
