Kane Lambert attended Vic state combine. Northern Blues VFL player. Win club B&F by about 80 votes or so & came 2nd in Liston medal by 1 vote. Number of clubs have spoken to him.

Our best 22 is probably the best in the AFL (on paper) but we've shed alot of depth players. We'll need to grab a couple of ready made mature players.

Mitch Thorp is a 195cm forward, plus players similar role to Justin Westoff but would be 10kg heavier.

Someone will pick him up, but Port have ruled them self out.

Thorp is listed as 86kg... Is westhoff 76kg?

Tony Notte is a talented player who is skinny as a rake with no tank. If you had a role in your side that accounted for his limitations he would be worth a shot. But last I heard he had no interest in playing AFL.

Rory O'Brien won the Sandover for East Freo (who did not even make the finals) with the 2nd highest points tally in history but at 27, the ball-winning midfielder might be considered past it.

Having said that, Sam Dwyer at the Pies made an impact at 26.

GWS or the Suns could do worse.

Alan Richardson has surely earnt his chance by now. His a classy small forward but his glaring weakness is pace unfortunately which is a prerequisite for an afl small forward.
