In fairness to Gaff, he is the first player tagged at the Eagles (basically being their best outside player).

He's a good bloke, hard worker and was a Dees fan growing up - we could do a lot worse than him for #2 (plus extras from WCE).

If we made that offer Gaff, I'd be expecting a lot more back then if we made it for Selwood though.

In order of preference, he'd probably be equal with Adams (if it's true we've talked to Selwood, Swallow and Adams).

And I would love to have him at the dees but I think it's more important to trade for someone ho can win his own footy ala selwood first cause we already have the toump who can be a gun outside player

Something like 2-19 for gaff an selwood plus we would have to throw something else in aswell

Savage is a bit of an up and under merchant. Would improve what we've got but it would be nice to sign someone better unless we get him on the cheap or bring in a couple of other significantly better players.

Wouldn't imagine Anderson would be on the table? Looked decent, and with Sewell, Mitchell, Hodge, Guerra, etc towards the pointy end I don't think they'd let him go?

He'd be a great fit for us and I think he'd thrive with more responsibility and security with his spot in the team.

We'd have to trade the 2nd coming of Jesus to get Crouch from them and you can't trade coaches.

I think after letting go of Kennedy an mcglynn cheaply and the close retirements of Lewis Sewell Mitchell Burgoyne and hodge it will be hard to get young mids from the hawks

Are you ruling out Selwood for pick 2 there? There has been some talk about him this week... may not be completely untouchable for the right deal.

No I would trade S Selwood if pick 2 in involved.

That's with him asking for a deal not being kicked out the door.

Reports of player unrest before Worsfold retired and a change of coach also generates player movements. The Eagles could actually have an interesting trade period again.

Savage you may have a chance but no way Anderson would move IMO.

He's living the dream with a couple of our NT boys in Cyril and Burgoyne at a super strong club in flag mode.

Crouch just extended his contract and is going to be elite. Walker will be a one club player.Lynch coming on and works his gizzards out and is rated highly at the crows. Shaw is always injured and wright is borderline best 22. The other guys we would look to trade are McKernan,McKay,Patrenko,Lyons,Luke Thompson,Brent Reilly,VB,Porplyicia and Tambling.

Wondering if Pick 2 would be worth trading for Sidebottom. Probably a long shot but has been down on form and inconsistent this season and pies would love a high draft pick too.
