What do people think of Patrick Cripps? What draft range do they see for him if at all?
Based on today's game....he is no where near it. Obviously Sheed was the go to man in the stoppages but Cripps, Jansen, Walsh and company offered absolutely no "hustle bustle" whatsoever. Cripps is a big bodied mid who should of dined out today against the smaller bodied NT side.....and they were small !......but he did not. He, and a few others need to relise that it is not the Don Sheed show............it's their show !

Hmm. Pretty solid effort them if he managed 22 disposals and 4 goals with dodgy kicking and overhead marking :p
If you saw the game he rushed some kicks and does struggle to take a mark above his head. Also 22 disposal against a B team crossover game isn't anything to right home about. He gets the ball but his disposal efficiency wouldn't be that high. The game this weekend will show were the boys are with their skills and ability

I've seen none of it, just going off the stats and what's been written here and in the papers. Shame about that, those are crucial deficiencies as well.

Good call. Players need to do more against a team that they beat by 90+ points. The mid players need to be ready for a harder game this weekend and be able to pushback and play both offensively and defensively or Vic will rebound all over them. There is plenty of good mid players in the team that play offensively and get the ball and go forwards well but I haven't seen to much from them getting back and picking up their opponent player when the ball is in transition. They need to show a more natural instinctive mine set to know when to get back and play defensively.

Good game today, Boyd started on fire then injured.
Vic Metro dominated the first quarter then WA generally was the better side for the last three quarters.
Some amazing umpiring going Vic Metro's way helped them keep there lead, about 6 dodgy free's in there foward line,
but they where go enough to take advantage of it of.
WA missed some easy shots on goal that metro slotted.
Vic Metro had a lot of left footers that used the footy well.
WA smaller players kept kicking short 25m to 30m kick when they needed to be 40m kicks they lacked penetration.
Patrick Cripps was excellent he produced a couple of brilliant plays busted a pack outside 50 and delivered the ball very well.
He is going to go way up people minds brushed away vic metro mids with ease, his read of the play is good and kicking is very good.
Jono Marsh was great, elite speed was used for a great goal in the last quarter, reminds me of a blonde Gary Rohan, plays extremely similar,
top ten choice.
Alec Waterman was instrumental in getting WA back in the game, his kicking was a standout and lifted when WA needed someone and Sheed
had disappeared. Waterman and Lennon from Vic where the stand out kicks on the field, Waterman laid a couple of brilliant tackles.
He also had the ball in third dodged past his opponent used his pace and delivered lace out.
Metro coaches where calling out for someone to stop him.
He would be a top 5 pick next year, if he wasn't a father and son pick, the kid is special, one of my favourites to watch.
Clem Smith reads the play well great pace but kicking is a let down gave away some free's very very soft free kicks to be said.
Cameron from WA was a skillful and looks a nice option.
Number 4 for vic metro was very good got some nice clearances, hard at it little guy really good pace was great.
Kelly finds lots of space knows where to run and used it well, very outside but will be a very good player on big AFL grounds at the next level.
McDonald got a lot of the footy quite a few cheap ones though looked hampered with some sort of injury was wincing a lot, was not happy when he got tackled. But thought he worked through the pain his possessions where not that effective in play, but shows the kids got ticker to play through pain and still get a lot of the footy, hopefully we see him play later on injury free seems another special kid.
Ben Cavarra number 2 was very good got a lot of the footy especially early on.
Touk Miller was impressive small backman with good pace and skills, a lot of clubs looking for a small backman like that, I Know Freo and WCE would both
like one, his mum lives in victoria but his dad lives in mandurah so the kid wouldn't have a problem moving interstate to WA.

McDonald in my mind is a even better prospect than some are saying to play injured showed great courage.
He had trainers with him when ever he came of.
Imagine what he will do injury free, he is a star.
I may not like North particularly but this kid is special and I hope he has a great career.

Apparently you aren't the only one jumping for joy at Sheed's forthcoming drafting.

What happened to Sheed?

Darcy Cameron really is going to be a good prospect at 203cm he was good in the ruck, but he just has these great hands and strong lead that make him such an attractive proposition as a full forward that helps out in the ruck. I've said before he is so agile for such a big guy.

Blaine Johnson didn't do his draft prospects any harm. He is so similar in looks and build to Jack Darling but a few cm's shorter. He is exceptional overhead, but needs to build up his running ability to play in the midfield more in higher grades.

2nd. It's the forward bit I'm interested in. Could he play key forward?

Daniher is 291 and plays kf
Whenever I have seen Cameron he has been more impressive as a key forward than a ruck man (although he is very good at that as well), so yes I would definitely look at him as a key forward.

Darcy is a great aerialist so yes he could play foward.
Gumbleton or a Aaron Black would be a much better option and there both probably second round picks same as Darcy.
